[You are correct! A Juggler can, however, swap Pokemon and have them attack on the same turn.]

The Rocket holding the Pokeball started to hop on one leg as his shin was kicked, "Ow, you brat!" It would certainly be bruised, but his leg was also very firm. He scooted out of her striking range and became on guard, the voltorb rolling in front of him, "That wasn't very nice little girl. Prepare to get zapped!"

The Rocket with the club cut through Lagi's small flames, but his club hit the ground when Lagi vanished. Looking around and spotting the girl, he fit the club snugly into his hand again and again in a threatening manner, "You ruined our business girl. I'm gonna ruin that pretty face of yours."

The Voltorb's electric energy surged and frayed Oberon's coat, but he seemed to be left mostly unharmed, with only small black spots in his fur. The Voltorb to the brunt of Oberon's attack, but seemed only to grow angrier, gathering more energy to zap at its assailant.

Zephyr popped out of the Pokeball, taking a look as he peaked his head from behind his folded wing. It spied the others, but returned to hiding beneath his wing, releasing a weak, "Caw." He seemed unmotivated to fight and may need some convincing.

Oberon was facing off against the Voltorb when Titania attempted to rush past him. As the Voltorb charged up his shocking attack, Oberon snagged Titania's clothes and pulled her away from the Voltorb. He was trying to nudge himself in between the Voltorb and his trainer, when the other rocket came from the side...

He two handed his club and brought it down on Oberon's back, just as he returned fire with the Voltorb. The swing looked very heavy, but Titania had a clear shot at the man's groin with her kick. Her boot collided into the man, and he soon folded over, dropping his club and holding himself, "Blimey..kid..ugh."

Zephyr went to attack the Voltorb, as it was clearly distracted, but the build up in static energy caused him to "Caw!" and back off from what would have been a solid hit. The Voltorb collided itself into Oberon, who might be in trouble from the earlier attack.

The voltorb was simply in the way of Oberon's attacks, with Titania's Taillow attempting to near it, but backing away every time the voltorb gathered energy. The Rocket pointed to the girl, "Now you'll get it! Voltorb--" The voltorb, however, had had enough of being struck by Oberon and had other plans, its form turning a bright white and electrical energy. The Rocket's eyes grew wide open and he fumbled around for the voltorb's poke-ball, "No, not that! You, uh oh.."

Once the voltorb reached a certain pitch of voice, the Rocket turned and fled the scene, voltorb's exploding finale imminent.

Voltorb's Surprise

The Rufflet was certainly somewhere in the woods, but Oberon only walked around, sniffing at the ground, and then returning to Titania to sit and watch her. He walks beside her when she leaves the forest and travels back to the town. With her compass, it wasn't too long before she returned back to Whalerdrake.

The pokecenter, which was terribly dirty and run-down, like the other bits of town, was easily found to be in the top-right corner of the town. A man with a broken nose had just pushed the door open before Titania neared the building. Inside, the broken nose guy and another darkly clothed man chatted behind the counter, and they quieted, the broken man leaving for the back room. The counter-guy folded his fingers over the Pokecenter's tattered sign, "Can I help you little girl?"
The man behind the counter leaned in and looked down at Oberon, then back to Titania, "Sure. That'll be 100 yen per Pokemon, take it or leave it." Just then, the Pokecenter's door slid open, where two others, accompanied by two different pokemon strode in. One wore a striped hoody and comfortable pants with sandals and the other had very bright, red hair.

Chris had her eyes on the ground, looking up after she arrived beside Titania, "Hey, where is he!" The man behind the counter looked over the two newcomers and shook his head, "I don't know who you're talk--auk!" Chris grabbed his shirt and pulled him closer, her fist at the read, "Look mister, I know he's in here. I'm a bloodhound and I'm all out of hound, okay?" Ruby only gave a quizzical look, before shaking her head.

The guy held up his hands, "Okay, okay, I'll go and get him. Just let me go." Chris did so and he cleared his throat, going into the back room. Ruby asked about Chris's statement and she only smiled, "It sounded pretty threatening didn't it?" Chris then noticed Titania, taking a moment to think, before waving, "Oh hey! Don't mind us; bad people to beat up." Then, "Hmm, sure is taking him long in there."

Chris's Intuition

The backdoor slammed shut and the sound carried its way through the back of the building to Chris's ears. She became cross and held a finger upward towards Titania, "One second, he's getting away. Ugh!" She vaults over the countertop and bustles into the back room, looking around. She's gone for some time and comes back offering her shoulder to a very distraught looking Nurse Joy.

Chris shook her head, "I found her tied up by those goons. Ugh, if only I could have caught them." Kitty was busy, as a puddle, in the corner of the waiting room. Chris collided her fist into her open palm, "But when I see him again, right in the snoz." Nurse Joy looked very tired and hungry and only partially shaken. Rubbing at her arm, "Thank you so much. It has been a few days since they took over." She looks between Ruby and Titania, "Oh, did you have Pokemon to heal? I can take care of them for you, in thanks for saving me."

Chris stood behind the counter for a while longer, until Nurse Joy was able to support herself. Chris walked around and checked on her melted pokemon, whom reformed and rubbed himself against her legs.

Perception

The Rufflet screeched and ripped at Titania's arms in its fury, pieces of cloth that got in the way were soon sent elsewhere. Oberon became ruffled, his fur standing on edge. He lashed out with enough force to push the bird off to the side, away from Titania. The Rufflet stuttered, flapping a wing along its side, but it soon gained flight once again. Its glowing eye turned to Oberon, its wings spreading wide and then coming together to blast the area with wind, hitting both Oberon and Titania. The wounds he caused towards Oberon, if any, were of an unnatural stinging sensation.

Rocks were picked up in the wind, as well as the sand and leaves in the area. The brief mess of things and chaos helped create a barrier of distractions around the distressed Pokemon. But only from attacks, it would seem.

Rufflet's Defense

The Rufflet broke free from the Pokeball, his screeching and clawing at the air a sign of hatred and desperation. Oberon quickly settles himself between the Rufflet and Titania, on guard, and the Rufflet flaps for a while, before becoming this mass of black and red, attempting to tear at Oberon. It was able to hit them with its wings while they were apart, but it seemed to resort to clawing and ripping when they were together.

The clawing and tearing of the Pokemon became even more intense once the first capture attempt failed. The Rufflet's beak pecked and his talons clawed, even grabbing Oberon's face for leverage. It was an unnatural bloodlust in the Pokemon's eyes, the violence so close to Titania. Oberon was dutiful though, his trust strong in Titania's command. His paws dug into the earth and he prepared to bear this onslaught, face down and eyes tightly shut.

Oberon folded his ears, his smaller teeth grinding against each other as he withstood the ferocious attacks by this flying monstrosity. When Titania pulled out her Pokeball to recall him, he instinctively dug himself in more and refused to budge and the call of retreat. The cuts he received sizzled and a black smoke rose from his body, but he wouldn't leave.

The Rufflet's talons latched onto his backfur, however, and they dug in deep. Oberon's legs shook and waivered, before he collapsed onto the ground, his energy returning to the Pokeball. The Rufflet uttered a victory screech, its red eyes falling upon Titania herself, talons dripping with Oberon's blood.

The Rufflet's wing beats picked up again, its eyes snapping with the sudden movement of Titania, but it heard the growling of Lagi. This challenge had to be met with a swift death, but the Rufflet couldn't get around Titania, its beak attempting to peck and its talons attempting to rip at the Pokemon. The dark bird's attention returned to Titania, but its attacks were distracted, its talons holding back for the want of a different target.

The Rufflet made one last screech before it was sucked into the Pokeball. The ball rocked viciously about, just as it did the last few times. But this time, it stopped. Lagi poked his head out from behind Titania, his breath a puff of fire, with his small hands wrapped tightly around Titania's leg. Around the time that the Rufflet was captured, the clouds passed and the sun shone through, illuminating the dead tree and its many leaves beneath it.
The forest was more lively as Titania made her way back into town. The sounds of chirps and Pokemon rummaging in the distance met her as she barreled through. The townsfolk were all performing their day-to-day activities, only some taking note of Titania's hurried movements.

Upon returning to the Pokemon Center, she was greeted by Nurse Joy, who looked to be more restive than their last visit, "Oh, hello there! How may I help you?" She brushed her outfit off, "I was just dusting the machines off; they were offly dusty."
Nurse Joy frowned a little, "Those poor dears. I will make them right as rain again. You may have a seat if you wish." She gestured to the seats behind Titania, before collecting the Pokeballs, "I will see to them and hopefully give you an answer on the Rufflet's condition." She went into the back room and didn't come out for a bit.

Lagi would look about once he was released, and then up at Titania. Hugging him close, his small body was warm and he curled up into a ball in her embrace.

When she did come out, the Pokeballs rolled out of the machine up front and she picked them up, "They will be feeling much better now, but I have never seen anything like your Rufflet before. It may be a rare strand of a Pokémon disease, so I would keep him away from your other Pokémon, just in case."
Lagi wiggled in Titania’s arms, his tongue taking the chance to lick Titania’s chin and released a small fount of fire into the air. Once released, Lagi would move to settle himself underneath the chair that Titania had occupied. Nurse Joy smiled and waved away Titania’s words, “You’re very welcome.”

Oberon, once he appeared, drew his feelers to touch Titania’s cheeks. He rubbed his head along the side of her’s. Lagi scooted from underneath the chair and touched his small hand to Titania’s leg, making a soft sound when squished in with Oberon. They both looked up and returned to their Pokeballs. Nurse Joy would wave to the teen, “Come again, any time.”

Then, in the woods, the Rufflet sprang out of his ball and released his screeching cry into the wild, open air. He attacked the food with sharp, stabbing pecks and gobbled all of it. He lifted his head and swallowed the last morsel, before hopping about with his wings spread wide open. Eventually, he saw Titania and screeched at her, hopping with his black wings wide, his talons making threatening, clawing motions at the air. When he got close enough, he’d rush at her in a fit of violence.
The Rufflet screeched, but it was a short sound as its attention was on the stick. Taking a quick look between Titania and the stick. He flew off and pecked at the stick, once, before he descended and folded his wings close to his body. He looked up at Titania, quiet. The stick fell on the ground and the Rufflet waited. He didn't turn his attention on anything else, didn't make any other sounds, and sat perfectly still.
The Rufflet let its beady eyes snap to the branch that Titania pointed to. At her command, the bird flapped its wings a few times, taking flight. With a mighty beat, the wind snapped the branch mentioned and the branch across from it, both falling to the ground at the base of the tree.

The Rufflet released a screech, but stayed where he was. It wasn't until she approached him that he made a movement, just his head, watching her. Being tossed the treats, the Rufflet screeched and hopped out, eating each treat in turn. His wings were a little dirty, but he stared at Titania in waiting. In his eyes, there was malicious intent, but he remained calm.
The Rufflet sootd as tall as it could, keeping still as Titania checked her map. He would look up at her, when she looked at him, as if waiting. As soon as Titania spoke, the Rufflet focused his attention onto her and walked after she told him to. He adjusted his footsteps to carry him in front of Titania, his dark feathered head turning to look at her every so often.

The two walked for a bit, until they neared the river's edge. There was a pile of Sentrets snuggled up on the other bank, and one of them was looking about. The Rufflet, upon spotting the other Pokémon a little ways away started to flap its wings, screeching in a drawn out manner, like a thin line being forcefully dragged along a chalkboard.

The Sentret was looking over the river's edge, perking his ears at the strange being's words. The Rufflet screeched its compliance to the order, hopping into the air and sending the water of the river and the concentrated air to cut into the Sentret sentry. Taking most of the damage, the Sentret was pushed back, up and over the pile of Sentrets. Hitting the ground, the Sentret decided to curl into a ball and roll into a better position, while the other Sentrets awoke and scattered into the woods.

Another Sentret, who had been sleeping, made a surprised yelp and wiped the sleep from his eyes. He looked wildly about and decided to join the other, showing off its small claws. Both Sentrets were beside each other, preparing their next move no doubt, in quiet chitters.

Defense Curl!

The Rufflet spread his wings wide and turned to each side in turn, screeching in his off-key cry. But this gave the Sentrets enough time to observe their foe, so when his attack sent up dirt and water as its force cut along the ground, the injured Sentret hopped onto the other's back and they stood as one. The force cut to the left and to the right of the Sentrets and when it passed, they unfurled and began their advance.

They hopped onto the rocks, one by one, and rolled onto the river bank. Then, with their small claws, they charged the Rufflet!

The second Sentret was still drowsy, its claws batted away with the Rufflet's wings easily. Even missing a few feathers didn't move the Rufflet's destructive motives. The first Sentret was taking a defensive approach, aware of the Rufflet's power. They fought in a curled form, striking out when opportunities arose.

The sentrets tried to snag the Rufflet's feathers in their vicious claws, but even with the bird's forsook defense, their attacks only caused insignificant wounds. Rufflet's wings bapped them away and he closed the distance with his beak at the ready. The first sentret takes point and puts himself between the other.

Luring the Rufflet into a false sense of empowerment, the Sentrets launch their counterattack! Taking the Rufflet's beak, the first Sentret buckled under the bird's power, but soon returned the attack with a raking claw up the Rufflet's front. The other attacked from the side, claws at the ready, but swiped too early and stumbled along the rocky shore.
