I thought of an easy way to translate individual Pokemons' skills from the book. This would create a sense of uniqueness and wouldn't upset the uniform balance between Pokemon. I would like to hear of your feedback on this idea, and if that feedback is positive for it, I will implement it by sending each of you a message with your Pokemon's skill bonuses.

For example, a Vaporeon's skills are:

+5 to Athletics, +3 Acrobatics, +3 to Combat, +3 to Stealth, +3 to Perception, and +3 to Focus.

While a Hariyama has:
+5 to Athletics, +1 to Acrobatics, +5 to Combat, +1 to Stealth, +3 to Perception, and +4 to Focus.

Now, the Combat skill is used for other things beside attacking in battle, and the bonus only applies to these outside uses. For example, a Vaporeon is granted a +3 bonus for combat to try and break through a crumbled wall, or to break a board with his forehead in a showing of strength. Or to rassle playfully, etc.
Sounds fine to me.
Sounds okay, maybe something with abilities can be implemented? Like...the blaze ability powers up fire moves when health is low, so that would do something with what's discussed in the move power thread?
I believe abilities and perhaps even natures could be easily implemented. Natures are easily ported and would offer small bonuses and penalties to certain stats.
Looks awesome! Is flame body even a possible ability for charmanders though?
The book that I am porting most of this information says that it is, and that Pokemon can acquire quite a few abilities, actually. I may have Pokemon stick to one, however, but I'll look over the information again.

In the book, Pokemon start with a basic ability, and Flame Body was one of the two options. Then later, they either acquire the other basic ability or gain an advanced one. Also, this reminds me to make a game alternating announcement!
May I ask which book you're using? Hidden ability for charmanders is solar power I think.
Certainly! I'm using the Pokemon United 1.05 book. A link can be found Here. There's a downloadable cache of the series below the information.

I'm not using everything in the book, as I prefer the simplified version that I have created.
Nice! I thought you made this up yourself, tbh xD
In a way, I did. I did take some time to translate everything into smaller numbers, but ultimately, it's easier to translate than to create your own language.
