Hello dear readers! Today we will discuss challenging other trainers officially! This includes friendly Trainers and unfriendly Trainers!
What do I do when I fight other Trainers?
When you encounter a trainer who wishes to battle, you must pick one of your Pokemon to send out. The opponent does the same. Then each trainer's Pokemon will battle until all Pokemon of either trainer have fainted. The winner will be given a small amount of yen. I NPC all opponent trainers, so you don't need to worry about them!
It's also very bad manners for either trainer to attack each other or the Pokemon involved in the Poke-Battle!
Who goes first in Trainer fights?
In friendly battles, such as most Trainer fights, and official battles, such as Gym Challenges, your chosen Pokemon's speed determines who goes first. Faster Pokemon, or those with special priority moves, will have their actions occur before slower Pokemon.
In unfriendly fights, where a Trainer engages the other Trainer or their Pokemon, then everyone's Speed stats are used to determine which action occurs in what order.
