Air ships continue to arrive with fresh faces of new students eager to start studying and training to be guardians and protectors of Remnant. The landing site is already bustling with students and their luggage, and the excitement is so thick you can cut it with a sword. (Let's hope nobody takes that literally and tries it. ) From this point stands the entire structure that is Beacon Academy, a truely majestic sight to behold, and still a bit of a walk to the entrance courtyard, where the Huntsman Statue stands proud and stoic for all to see. Beyond that, the front door to the school itself, and all the adventure and knowledge that comes along with it.
Professor Ozpin steps close to the microphone and clears his throat, "I'll... Keep this brief... You have traveled here today in search of knowledge... To hone your craft and acquire new skills... And when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you and all I see is wasted energy... In need of purpose... Direction... You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will only prove that knowledge will only carry you so far. It is up to you... To take the first step." he says briefly and almost half-heartedly before stepping calmly aside and walking with a proud posture with the use of his cane.
Professor Glenda Goodwich would step up to the mic after this, "New students will gather in the ballroom tonight. Tomorrow your initiation begins... Be ready. You're dismissed." She says in a calm but serious tone. With that, the students were free to explore the campus and do whatever they liked until nightfall, which was still several hours away considering it was still fairly early in the afternoon.
