Kasey proceeded to follow Namarii in collecting the driftwood. It was tough for her to be standing at the moment, but falling asleep wasn't exactly ideal, especially since it felt like she had her fill. "Yeah. I don't think straying too far from the beach is a good idea, especially for me. Who knows what's lurking in there." Kasey responded. "Oh and I'm Kasey by the way."

From there, the expectant mother followed suit and started collecting some of the dry wood and lent the she-cat a helping hand. Her bundle of wood ended up being smaller then that of Namarii's, mainly because it wasn't good for her to haul large bundles of anything that would get too heavy. Not to mention her belly getting in the way of her picking things up, and constantly crouching or bending was bad for her back due to the weight of her belly pulling her spine inwards. Still, she was able to collect enough. "Here, I'm gonna need a little help in setting them down, my back is hurting." She sighed before holding the bundle of driftwood out to hand to Namarii.
Camry saw Kasey holding out the wood. "I'll take that, you just take it easy there." He said, hasty grabbing the wood. He put it down in a pile next to the makeshift camp and offered her a hand to sit down.
A black heap lies on the shoreline, it was a black cat whose form was covered in sand and prickly from the sea salt from the ocean. The cat slowly comes to and opens her golden eyes. The world slows as her mind works to process what had happened with fragments of memories filtering through her mind. She heard the sound of the crashing waves as they hit the shoreline, one swelled and crashes, reaching up to her feet. This gives her the lush to get up, groaning as she places her furred hands under her and pushes up from the ground, her body screaming in agony from her stiff muscles and aching firm. She had to fight gravity to keep from collapsing. She manages to get to a sitting position with her legs tucked under as she slowly looks around. She saw debris of wood and luggage that was broken open or surprisingly safe from the wreckage. She didn’t see the body of the ship though, neither anyone else from the crash so she assumed she crashed onto a different part of the shoreline.

She looks down at herself now and inspects her limbs and form for any injuries, luckily there was none that she could see. What remained of her clothes was ripped into rags, nothing recognizable of the party dress she was wearing before the ship crashed. She had been hired to work on the ship as a server and hostess.

The black cat sighs heavily and brushes her form, trying to brush out sand and salt that had caked into her fur. She had no idea how long she was out but looking at the sky, she observed she didn’t have a lot of time before nightfall which lead to her next action of getting what she needed to try to get a fire going.

On shaky limbs, she slowly manages to get to her feet, a bit wobbly as her orientation changes but she could stand at least. She takes a careful step on the sand, and felt relieved not to be taken down by gravity. She steals her resolve and stirs into action to collect drift wood and stones, as well as anything else that might be able to be used to build a fire.

After collecting the material, she walks further inland and builds a ring out of the stones and lays down the driftwood and kindling. In the wreckage she opened up a couple suitcases and managed to find a lighter and a box of matches. She tries the lighter first but it wouldn’t light no matter how many times she clicked it. So then she picks up the match box, taking one out and striking the side of the box, tossing it onto the wood. The fire was slow to start, but with careful tending, she gets a warm light fire. She sighs and sits back, her knees up with her tail laying to the side. She knew more had to be done but the fire alone was quite a task. Her next one would be making some sort of shelter but she was going to take a bit of time to rest.
