Starbase 626

Amicitia wandered about the Bridge, taking care of the other matters. The station was under her command after all and she would dread anything else happening to it. It was bad enough that a murder happened. Everyone was on the edge and she did her best to maintain her air of authority to show that everything was in control.

All of a sudden, the proximity alarm goes off and she gazes to the screen frowning.

"Yellow Alert! Shields up! Ensign?" she asked as she headed towards the captain's area.

On screen, a Romulan ship had decloaked. Not a warbird thankfully but still bad enough.

"This is Captain Amicitia of Starbase 626. Identify yourself and your intentions," she said as they hailed the ship.

[Depends on if yellow alert is enough to make Alana go to the bridge, I suppose. See post in other thread.]

Alana had expected Klingons, not Romulans, but here they were. The turbolift took her up to the command level and onto the bridge (and Subak Ren as well, if he'd joined her). Alana strode onto the deck and looked at the viewer, showing the green tinged shape of the Romulan vessel in the void outside of the station. Were there others? It was entirely possible. Either way, Romulans shouldn't be here in Federation space let alone on the Klingon border.

"Status of the Romulan vessel?" Alana asked Ops as the Captain tried hailing them. "And any subspace or other distortions that suggest more than one cloaked vessel?"

Either another Romulan... or a Klingon hot head who might blow up one of their blood enemies with a cloaked attack run of their own. The last thing she wanted was a Bird of Prey and the Scout Ship out there blasting one another into their component atoms.
