I likely won't do this often - any character I've written or designed will ultimately stay mine. I do, however buy designs and adopts with hopes of giving them good homes, but sometimes for one reason or another, it never works out, and these poor things end up gathering dust where they could otherwise be happily played in RPs or as illustrations or 'sonas.
These are a few of the designs I've bought or commissioned and ultimately never used:
1) (Former) Cydroid, as-is - $15
Cydroids were a species by Koreonn but have since appeared to be dismantled and the information scrubbed; I'd bought it post-dismantling, but never found a proper home. Therefore, Saffron's going as-is - one can choose to keep the name and species, or otherwise riff on it.
Includes left and right views, transparent and background, as well as a color ref.
2) Spotty Sphinx Pup (2017) - $10
One of Grimmla's older adoptables. I bought one I used more, a month later.
3) Blue Jay Kitsune (2017) - $45
Once in a while, Grimmla asks for some prompts to freestyle a character around a theme. I love blue jays, and I love kitsune, as a rule. I'd had a bluejay-in-law at the time. At one point this critter was named 'Atticus.' But he's otherwise sat for a little over two years, drifting in and out of ideas, and finally with resignation, I'll see if anyone can be better to him than I've been.
