Location
Taderron is miles from a small port, the small community only sees trades twice a year, more often then not the townsfolk must make the journey down to the port city to do proper trading. It was once a bustling town that traded lumber and wool. A decade ago the many of the stronger villagers where drafted into a war, their king of the time lost the war and his kingdom shrank dramatically. This created a vast empty space, the surrounding kingdoms decided that instead of splitting up the mostly useless land they would make it a free territory, free from their rule and taxation, but also free from their protection. This has caused the village to shrink further, now its remaining residence are mostly those too old or poor to leave. -

Magical Beasts
- Will'o'the Whisp - Said to be souls returned to this world to trick the living off their trails, these small magical beings are very common in the woods. They appear as the final lights of the sun vanish and disappear when the first lights of dawn twinkle through the foliage.
- Phoenix Wren - small red birds that are very common, almost like red pigeons. The feed mostly on insects and regenerate from nearly every injury. On the Fall Equinox they all burst into flame, lighting up the night sky. Their eggs are gathered by villagers and used through out the winter to help keep warm, they are usually placed with in stoves and fireplaces. On the Spring Equinox the birds all hatch and return to the forests.
- Griffons - Though they rarely hunt in the woods, they have been known to try and lift a sheep from the village. They are never hunted by the village, it is considered good luck to have one of these rare and large birds ( Size of a Shetland pony) seen with in the village. They are thought to bring favorable events.
- Dragons - Have not been seen in the area, thought once a dragon skull was uncovered in the woods.

Mystical Phenomena
- Switch Spots - These are portals that randomly appear in locations outside of the village. That allow people, things and creatures to pass from another world/location to this one. Several have entered this portal, but have not returned. IT is thought anything can come through these portals. Note: None have ever been seen with in the villages walls.
