Taderron is miles from a small port, the small community only sees trades twice a year, more often then not the townsfolk must make the journey down to the port city to do proper trading. It was once a bustling town that traded lumber and wool. A decade ago the many of the stronger villagers where drafted into a war, their king of the time lost the war and his kingdom shrank dramatically. This created a vast empty space, the surrounding kingdoms decided that instead of splitting up the mostly useless land they would make it a free territory, free from their rule and taxation, but also free from their protection. This has caused the village to shrink further, now its remaining residence are mostly those too old or poor to leave.
