    All Elysians are given a standard set of training to handle most general situations, and although personalities and slave-oriented skills will vary to add uniqueness to an individual or to allow a potential owner to customize to their preferences, they are designed to be servants and therefore willingly will follow the rules of the establishment they are sold by until purchase. Following this designated authorities must be ascribed via command.

    An Elysian mind works in a fashion very similar to anyone else's, except that personality is not something that comes naturally. Rather the only thing that comes naturally to them is their inherent subservience and willingness to accept orders. Instead, an Elysian must be taught to have a personality through their training much like an animal, except with much faster results. To do so, a trainer works with an Elysian personally, though no single trainer is dedicated to any one Elysian. Training involves placing the subject into hypothetical situations and giving them either multiple or limited options of how to act. These hypothetical situations are initially simple and grow more complex over time.

    It is through these hypotheticals Elysians develop their true inherent personalities, the amount of choices given to them structuring how independent or dependent they are when it comes to situations, with only the rarest of cases developing an option not provided to them. These special cases are the most likely to be chosen to become Servitors, those who most need to be independent and adaptable without the need for hand-holding. For most Elysians, the limiting or expanding of choices is purely arbitrary, allowing for no one Elysian to develop in the same way as another. This is part of what makes them unique and puts them on par with a flesh and blood slave.

    vHtxzdJ.pngThey are naturally curious and fast learners, meaning they never need to be told or taught something twice. However, due to the nature of how their brain functions and how they learn in a very clinical manner, a change in situation may cause the Elysian to seek guidance on how to act appropriately if the original knowledge doesn’t exactly cover it.

    vHtxzdJ.pngOnly Elysian Servitors are capable of using their own hearts to cast magic, and even then only in service of properly modifying or repairing other Elysians. This command is ingrained deeply within their personality, and only a Servitor can release it… for a price.

    vHtxzdJ.pngElysians do not have souls. They are constructs, and while they may exhibit personalities, have emotions, etc, they lack the special spark that gives them what many would label a soul. As such they also lack auras related to souls and only are magically detectable by their unique aetheric energy signature.

    vHtxzdJ.pngEven basically modelled Elysians make excellent conduits for other magically-inclined beings.

    vHtxzdJ.pngEvery Elysian can be modified by a Servitor: extra hearts can increase their physical strength and speed as well as make them stronger conduits for the magically inclined. Higher quality whiskers can allow for better detection of threats while exploring. Fluid flavors can be changed in order to fit the preferences of an owner. Even genitals and integumentary systems can be modified to an owner’s preference.

    vHtxzdJ.pngElysians are very mentally stalwart, and beyond brain damage are almost incapable of suffering from mental disorders except through extremely traumatic events.

    vHtxzdJ.pngThey are not created with morals, and are rather directed by learned rules and edicts from free people, owners, and their environment. An Elysian will by default kill someone on an owner’s order (even a friend or innocent bystander), but will not do so of their own accord, for example.

    vHtxzdJ.pngElysians can get drunk, just not by normal means. Possessing excessive amounts of aetheric energy can give them equivalent of drugged or high until they can expend said energies. Alchemical potions can have a drunk effect on them or being given magically-enchanted objects can have the same effect.

    vHtxzdJ.pngWhile they can't use their own aetheric energy to produce magic (unless unlocked by a servitor), they can be effected by magic easily.

    Every Elysian is given a basic skill set:
    • Hand-to-Hand Combat (standard defense)
    • Foraging
    • Opening as a conduit for use by magical beings
    • Climbing
    • Gliding
    • Self-Repair (Minor)
    • Cooking
    • Cleaning
    • Reading (for self-instruction)
    • Writing
    • The most common language of the region

      Other skills are either learned or depend on the model.
