Alright this is the start of the discussion for the rules of this RP group.
So far, our baselines are:
For Characters: No Mary Sues Or Gary Stews nor any generally op or godlike beings.
For roleplay: Dice are optional for most parts, but we will likely require rolls for combat. Because of the combat roll necessity, we're probably going to need at least Some sort of stats (that or just flat roles with no modifiers)
For GM's: The role of GM will be passed around from adventure to adventure (for those who want it) but characters will remain the same.

rolled 1d20 and got a natural 9.
Note: I think maybe we could also make a general GMless RP topic called like "The saloon" for people who like the genre but don't want to play.
I'm just gonna go ahed and post a little intro to my character arriving at the Rim
rolled 1d20 and got a natural 10.
Note: Sorry if this took so long to get started y'all
Figured this might be the right section to ask, but feel free to move my post if it's out of place
Anyway, is there any rule we should follow regarding posting rounds and different chars? For example - I already posted with Darius, I have to wait until everyone else has had a go before I post with another OC of mine or it's not a problem? I've been in groups where this was restricted (especially in not one-on-one scenes) for the confusion, others in which it was more looose. So just want to make sure we're all on the same page

I personally was going to wait until everyone posted once before posting again, but its up to you.
I'm sure everyone else has different views on it, but this is one that I think is by person in choice.
rolled 1d20 and got a natural 13.
Note: You do you
Just FYI... don't wait for me. I haven't had any flashes of inspiration for a character, so am just going to read for awhile.
If we just want really basic character sheets, we could make use of the Fate: Core or even the Fate: Accelerated systems. They're very genre-agnostic and little more than some skills and a list of special abilities. They're about the most rules-lite systems I know of that are still in familiar territory for most tabletop roleplayers.
