For those who do not have PostReader devices, Newsies also sell psychical copies made of biodegradable material, outside of their offices.
» Scientists
Scientists often research the Spacegas Weald, it is a dangerous job and requires care. -
TECHNOLOGY
» PostReaders
PostReaders are devices to read newspapers on. They are common in most households, as they are easy to hang on the wall like a picture frame would be. For those on the go or with smaller spaces to live in, Mini PostReaders are available too in two styles, handheld and pocket watch. PostReaders get their information sent from Newsie offices.
» Enchantment Devices
Visual
There is a base that the antenna clicks onto that is a permanent technological advancement, they attach to the temples of a person's head. The base only provides connection between you and the antenna, and on its' own, cannot work. The antenna is what enhances, and they have knobs you can turn to adjust its' power, for example, hearing enhancement knobs are similar to a volume knob that turns sound up and down.
Another example, sight enhancement knobs can clear your vision or blur your vision depending on which way you turn it.

CULTURE
» Spacegas Sacrifices
Every year, around a similar time, the Royal Family hosts an event where a single gold piece must be thrown into the Spacegas Weald's biggest pond. Most of everyone is given special equipment to attend this event without harm from the weald's air or alien species.
» Social Season
Starting December 27th, and ending July 2nd, social season is when the people of Xemore attend balls and parties in hopes of finding a suitor and to socialize with others. It is an important time of year, and everyone is encouraged to follow its' rules. -
SPECIES
» Animal Like Species
In the Spacegas Weald, lives animal-like alien species with most of their facts unknown. Scientists have been trying to get closer looks at them, but have troubles due to their natural aggressiveness from the weald's air.
» Humans and Technos
As in most places, exists humans. There is not much else to say about humans, as most are familiar with this species. However, sometimes, humans get technological upgrades, such as hearing, sight or mind enhancement devices, which are sometimes referred to as Technohumans, or Technos, for short. Calling Technos by the name "Techies" is a big insult and is frowned upon.
» DNA Edited Species
Thanks to the knowledge of a handful of Scientists, DNA Editing is possible, though may cost a lot unless directly tied into the science gig. That is why some humans have animal ears, tails or other similar features. There is a few species of DNA Edited Humanoids that appear to be animals, just standing upright. -
HOBBIES
» Space Ships
Mostly for fun, due to the surrounding Spacegas Weald preventing much travel by them, some people own extravagant ships with big sails and various technological upgrades to help keep it running.
Most are of the airship variety, that require air of any kind (oxygen or not), but there are elderly who have some old styled, sailboat variety of Space Ships, that require water to be used.
Some of the most common of the airship variety are known as cruises, which are big and usually have to ride around on the edge of Xemore City (which is also the edge of the Spacegas Weald). -
HISTORY
» Scientific Deaths of '68
A group of scientists went off to the Spacegas Weald to try and learn more about a mysterious alien species living there, but three out of the five scientists experienced equipment malfunctions and were killed by the aggressive species and the lack of oxygen.
It is unclear of the malfunctions were a real accident, or a sabotage. But this pushed a new law to have equipment checked before and after each Spacegas Weald exploration trip.
