The BLOOD PITS use a relatively simple DS system for normal matches. It assumes that two combatants are fighting one on one and that they are "evenly matched," which just means that each player has the same chance to win as the other. (Unless you want to use a self-imposed penalty due to character injury, etc. If you do, contact a moderator before your fight.)
For Combatants
First, a moderator will initiate a fight between you and a combatant.
At this point, type !fight. When both players have done this, it will show the results. In case of a draw, reroll.
Once you've both rolled and you have the result of the round, make your posts. As usual, this is totally freeform--incorporate the results of the diceroll however you wish.
When you've both posted, the moderator will advance the round, then just type !fight again, and so forth until the fight ends.
The first person to get three wins in a row wins the match, but if the fight goes on for too long, the moderator may choose to initiate overtime--then the first person to get two wins in a row wins the match.
