Currency comes in five different forms in Yveridia.
Copper is the smallest currency in diameter but are the thickest. It takes 100 copper to equal a bronze. So they're like pennies to a dollar.
Bronze is the base currency. It has a value of 1. 10 Bronze make a Silver.
Silver is the next step and these have a value of 10 bronze coins. It takes ten Silver to make a Gold.
Gold is the currency of the rich and what most life savings come in. 1 Gold is worth 100 Bronze, or 1000 Coppers. It takes 10 Gold to make a Platinum.
Platinum is worth 1000 Bronze.
So
100 Copper = 1 Bronze
1000 Copper = 1 Silver
10000 Copper = 1 Gold
100000 Copper = 1 Platinum
10 Bronze = 1 Silver
100 Bronze = 1 Gold
1000 Bronze = 1 Platinum
10 Silver = 1 Gold
100 Silver = 1 Platinum
10 Gold = 1 Platinum
Foreign Currency of the same metals are worth 1/2 of Yveridia currency.
Unless your country establishes a Fair Trade Agreement it will remain such. If your country does then your foreign currency will be 1-1.
Use of foreign currency also makes it harder to get a good deal or even buy things in Yveridia. The local populace is distrustful of foreign money.
Banks and loan houses will exchange currency.
