I was gonna ask if it was site container! I'm glad my head's in the right place
The sitecontainer is very tall so the gradient may be very gradual.
Code:
#sitecontainer {
background-image: linear-gradient(to bottom, rgba(0,0,0,0), rgba(0,0,0,0.5), rgba(0,0,0,0.1), rgba(0,0,0,0.1), rgba(0,0,0,0.5), rgba(0,0,0,1));
}
Basically it's a math thing. I you have 2 values, it's 50% and 50%.
In this case it's 1/6th transparent, 1/6th half transparency, 1/6th full opacity, 1/6th full opacity, and 1/6th full opacity and 1/6th full opacity
In this case it's 1/6th transparent, 1/6th half transparency, 1/6th full opacity, 1/6th full opacity, and 1/6th full opacity and 1/6th full opacity
Oh you need to remove the background color
I also messed up the opacity values but
okay but I don't want the gradient to start at the top of the screen
You could try using the gradient background-image code to the #charheader too
Well the charheader just needs to be lower, but that looks like what I was actually aiming for
I'll be AFK for a bit in about half an hour
Hello Sanne and Auberon! Thank you for the invite! I have only put my left foot down the first step into the shallow end of this pool, but it is something I'm very interested to do! Hoping to spend some of my free time playing around with styles! Thank you for the invite!
Just on my afternoon break so getting back at it for a couple more hours. See you all again here soon!
Edit: IF you're giving out custom titles, you can make mine 'Rookie'. I was going to say 'FNG' but it's an acronym I learned doing a Vietnam war roleplay meaning '*****ng New Guy'
