Origins

  • Founding

Eldaskriki was the name of an island, populated by natives. They believed in pagan Gods by the influence of their neighboring islands. One day, Althalos arrived onto their soil and was greeted cautiously by the natives. Althalos claimed he was their true Sun God, and with his super powers, he manipulated light in front of them, encouraging them to take him as their God. He located to the mountain of Haugr, where he was built a fortress of Gold above the height of the clouds. There, he hand picked several men to tell the story of the Gods, and he renamed the island Nyreyland.

Althalos told the people of the many Gods that existed, many of which reflected people he knew from his life on Guildereim, including the others he invited on his conquest to godhood. Soon, the entire island was converted into believing Althalos' newly crafted pagan religion, and with a strongly established faith, their armies also grew in strength.
  • Geography

The Isle of Nyreyland is very small, only housing a few tiny tribes and one village. It is circular, with several hazardous rocks guardian the shore lines from invaders. It's location is between The Drakorian Birga Peninsula and the Kasuria.

There is a volcano, called Hauga-Eldr on the West side of the island, and is said to be the lair of Lasayr and her furies. The natives fear that angering her will cause her to erupt the volcano and cause destruction on the island. On the East of the island, there is a small mountain range, and the largest of them all is Haugr, where Althalos' golden fortress is said to be.
  • Civilization

The natives of Nyreyland are of several different species. They are Wyrmmes, Bugge, Furre, and Humans. Most of the Nyerylandians are tribal and live in tents, with the occasional wooden house. It is common for many activities to take place outdoors, as indoor space is always minimized on. Jobs include farming, herding, blacksmithing, cooking, and slave trade. Most natives are poor, even the chiefs of the tribes lived a rather uncomfortable life.

Warriors are barbaric beyond reasoning. Influenced by Althalos, they are fueled with bloodlust and to conquer, pillage and plunder. They were bred to fight and die for their Gods, and spread their religion as far wide as possible. The Gods Ul and Lyo helped inspire the warriors before battle.

In the island's main city Kveykva, there is an arena dedicated to training upcoming war heroes and prepare them for glorious conquests.
