What I've become convinced of is that it is not actually particularly different. You're more or less just gaining the ability to see all the RPs at once that you're eligible to join, while still having all existing views available to you. If I had announced it that way and just coded it the way I was going to code it without revealing the underlying plumbing, I don't think anyone would have the current fears.
