Say you've run out of character slots, or that one muse has been on the shelf too long and is just caked with dust, but you don't want to erase all the work you've done on that character - including all those journals, guestbook entries, and friendships made along the way.
Exporting your character allows a file to be made and saved for future uses so that the character itself can be deleted, without having to resort to copy-pasting all information down to a .txt file or something. Myth-weavers has a feature like that, albeit the system is a lot less complicated, as it's just character sheet exported as a .json file.
Hopefully, something like that could be possible with RPR 2.0!

At least having an easy option for a plaintext export seems like a good idea, since a lot of folks don't know how to do print page, and it'd be nice to have all pages in a single file anyway.
But having a system that creates a file that can rebuild an entire profile would be pretty cool, too.

I would love this since it would be an easy way to make backups of your characters, you know, just in case.
