So, as it is on RPR right now, group members are in a random order because Server doesn't like conventional lists. I know that this is an issue that hasn't been solved, but it'd be really lovely in RPR's rebuild that we could have members listed in order from when they joined. 
You can sort them by any of the categories by clicking the category (i.e. sorting by name will make them alphabetically organized). Sorting by join date would be a neat feature! That said, we also really need a group member search feature. I'd sell my soul for one.
