When rolling more than 1 die at a time, it'd be great to see the result of each individual die in addition to the total.
There's a lot of systems out there that use a pool of dice.
I get this is possible now just by adding each die separately, but it's cumbersome.

- ORE, for example, uses a pool of d10s and you look for matches.
- Burning Wheel, you roll a pool of d6s and look for results over 3
- Even D&D has the advantage/disadvantage thing where you roll 2 d20 and take the higher/lower respectively.
- Oh! Heck, even stat generation on D&D often uses the convention of roll 4d6 and drop the lowest die.

rolled 6d10 and got 22
Looking for matches
rolled 2d20 and got 18
advantage
Maybe something as simple as:
rolled 6d10 and got 22 (3, 7, 1, 1, 8, 2)
And for nicer viewing, if only a single die was rolled, exclude the part in parens completely since it'd be redundant.

possible to add a 3 side dice or even better a pop up to enter how many sides are needed?
I like to add occasional dice to combat scenes
I would like to have
1 - no hit
2 - hit
3 - dead or disarmed
At the moment I make do with a 4 side dice but would be nice to have other ranges / numbers like 3 and 5 as options too

rolled 1d6 and got 5
I second Tusitala's motion of being able to do a custom random number range.
In a game now where the GM needed us to roll 1-77. So we all did 1d100 with several re-rolls needed for results of 78+.
Maybe a 'd?' at the bottom of the drop down. When selected, it would bring up another text box to enter how many 'sides'.

Outside of gaming (which I don't really do), I know that a custom field would be SUPER helpful to like me and others when doing raffles. I could just do a d25 instead of a d100 with the numbers repeating four times

I am dying for both these!
In Shadowrun you roll a handful of D6s (sometimes more than 20!). 5s and 6s are successes, and anything else is a failure. There is no way to currently do this with the diceroll feature.
EDIT: It'd also be nice if the site counted successes for you
Rolled 10d6>=5 and got 4 successes
1, 2, 5, 4, 6, 1, 3, 2, 6, 5

1, 2, 5, 4, 6, 1, 3, 2, 6, 5
This seems like it would be nice, but tough to implement in a generic way that would work across systems.

On Roll20 this is already easily possible!
You can choose whether a success is greater than / less than, and input the value.
How does it determine if your target is per die vs the aggregated result?
This is what it looks like if I have a dice role with a success threshold of 5
If I leave the 'Target Number' box blank it just adds up your rolls for you.
In Shadowrun, which I play (and I think all/most systems with a target number) the total of the dice is not at all important.
That's pretty cool and I didn't realize roll20 could get that sophisticated with the rolls.
I can't say I'm going to add this...
Because it's already done and in the rebuild.

Whooohooo! Both the breakdown and the custom sided dice?
