This is related to my previous topic about templates but different enough that it should be it's own topic of course.
I have thought about this a few times.
The ability to set a template as the template for multiple characters at the same time, or just choose multiple different characters templates at the same time not having to switch back and fourth between the characters profiles to chose their individual templates unless you want to.
The way I see it working is that...
Currently when you are in the templates you see 'use this template for such and such'
this way, would be instead you have a drop down menu of all your characters and you can assign multiple characters to a template, click 'use' after and then that template is set for those characters.
The same would go for multiple templates for multiple characters. You chose the template for one character click one of two options 'use' and 'use and preview' if you click use, then you can just move on and click to pick another for a different character while not having to preview the other unless you want, but also not having to switch to another character profile.
From a coding stand point I have no idea how hard or easy this would be so this is a lighter but still useful in my opinion suggestion.

But doesn't this lessen the value of using the shop item to give you more slots? I understand not many people have the money to throw around for such luxury - but it helps the site by buying items.

I believe she's trying to suggest that, rather than going into each character individually to set a specific template, that you can choose multiple characters and have the template apply to all of them. I think this would be useful in the sense that they are all in the same universe/world or have similar lore.

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear, but I'm not talking about using multiple characters per character slot.
I am talking about choosing templates for multiple character slots at the same time.
Example:
Say I want to use my template Urban for 3 character, 3 different character slots.
With this I could click a drop down menu on the 'Urban' template and chose those three characters say.... Frankie, Maddox and Aster.
The template would then be set for all three characters at the same time.
