Just wanted to cross reference and mention... that I mentioned this specific idea likely being a solve for part of the issues that prompted this suggestion. Being not being able to categorize people into why you friended/followed them.
This would allow someone to make a note on why they follow someone specifically and who they are of course like
'ooc chat mostly'
'IRL friend: *name*'
'RP partner (rp anniversary dates for mushy people like me)'
'to stay updated on their art'
'for their cool characters'
and allow them to ctrl+f to find everyone with 'art' in their note, ect.
