Introduce yourself, your character, and let us know a little about any wants or goals you have here.
I'll start:
My name is Dray, and I'll be handling most of the NPC's that hang out around Cindergrove. I like D&D but the current quarantine has made it tough to connect with friends a la tabletop RP, and I've been thinking about running a town-builder style of game for ages. I've been freeform (forum, journal, group and 1x1 chat style) RPing since 1999 and wanted to return to a less rules-strict game. So here we have it! I hope it's fun; I'm open to thoughts on how to spruce things up, though please lend me a bit of patience as I learn the ropes and take into account the entire community's wants and needs. (I'm used to running games for about 5 people, so a 20 person cap is pretty huge!)
Goals are vague at this point, other than ensuring this group is stable and provides enough fodder to help you get your character arcs and relationships off the ground. To that end I'm happy to play out the bits and pieces that keep threads moving if you need me. I'd like to eventually allow others to take on NPC's, if they wish, but we'll see if that's something other players want. I'll definitely need help moderating eventually, but we'll have to gauge where the wheels are not moving and how soon that will need to be.
I welcome all of you who'd like to try Cindergrove out! I hope it makes a good home for your characters.

Hello! I'm Dilly and I am going to be playing Lilote. Please click on my profile to get a look at her illustrations as she's an odd little thing.
Lilote is a magical creature created by a now-dead sorcerer who studied scultping flesh. She was made to be a decorative air conditioner but now she's out in the world on her own she wants to either discover that she's capable of more or to discover someone who really wants to let her lie on her belly as they feed her magic.
Personality-wise she's sheltered to the point of naivity, cowardly but curious, spoilt but sweet, and hampered by her body but willing to learn. She's got a great fear of wolves and owls and thus of being outdoors in the dark - not because she's ever seen either beast, but because she was told by the other daemons as a child that if she was attacked by wild animals her air bubbles would pop.
The only thing I'm not down to play with her is any sort of sexual or romantic subplots. She's got the body of a seven year old child and though she's older than that she doesn't behave like an adult woman. I'm down to play most other types of plot!

Hey All! I'm Juls. I got my RP start through a LARP game back around 2000. (Wow... 20 years. When did I get to be such an old fart? Whatever... get off my lawn! ) That led to RPing as my LARP character on the group's forum in between events and that eventually branched out into PBP games and some various tabletop games.
I have a few characters that I believe could fit the vibe of this place, but for getting started, I'll be playing my goblin shaman, Rivka. Hopefully, her healing abilities can outweigh her whiny, cowardly, gobliny ways!
Rivka's goals: Find the sword of her ancestors. (This is mostly an excuse to make her interact with other races. If she ever finds it, I don't want it to be any time too soon! Otherwise, she'd take her sword and leave!)
Looking forward to exploring Cindergrove with everyone.

The only thing better than a fool with coin to spare, is a fool who parts with it easily.
This tabaxi sees quite an opportunity here... nothing like a tightly knit community to bring in the gold and platinum for tabaxi. But this tabaxi sees an opportunity to stake her claim, to make tabaxi some hefty coin, and to plant roots tabaxi never could with her tribes.
Tabaxi is a medical cat, a healer, and she has just what you need

Hello Everyone! I'm Juice, and I started Role Playing back in 2013 via Amino. I've been on RPR for a year? I only recently really tried doing much actual role playing, but I am excited to be back in the game!
My character is Morkhan Arlsmith, a necromancer cleric with a ton of secrets. He against an evil so old that people forgot it's existence. He's basically an edgy goliath of dark stuff. Blood and guts I say!
I want BLOOD and lots of it

Good day!
I'll be playing Fang, a canine shape-shifter hunter who's out to explore the world. She values freedom and having fun, so she's non-committal at times.
Still very young and inexperienced, she relies on mostly her instinct and gut (her gran always advises her to be careful, but a young adult always think they are better than the elders. tsk.)
She's here for the experience, nice to meet you all!
