Just posting this for anyone to join~ A means of introducing Sigyn (and maybe Ominous later).
It was rather easy to fool the eyes of mortals, a little glamour here and a splash of color there; they would never look twice at the disguised goddess. Auburn hair darkening to a dark chocolate brown, her eyes of the same color while her features softened into a face that wasnt entirely her own. She wandered a nameless city, its title hadnt exactly been noted when she arrived but it was really an island of skyscrapers and criss-crossing streets packed with smelly cars and sidewalks packed with even more mortals. The woman's dress rippled with the breeze that reeked of exhaust, her nose scrunching up against the aroma as she turned corners and weaved through the crowds, searching.
Searching for what though? Sigyn wasnt entirely sure herself but she was certain of one thing; finding someplace quiet to think and be away from all of these humans. She was nearly suffocating in this perpetual fog of toxic gas; how did the humans live in this? Stepping into the shadow of an alley, purple fire suddenly consumed her and she spirited away; to reappear in a massive park in the center of the metropolis. Sloping green hills and leafy trees spanned out before her as her magic faded, Sigyn stood on one of the many paths that crawled through the park. So, she started to walk, finding the scent of flowers, maple, pine and oak trees a welcome change.
So, the goddess wandered, passing a few stray mortals along the way, still unsure of where she was going but led along by an invisible thread. Who would she meet when she reached the end?

If a flip phone closes and there is nobody around to hear it, does it make a sound?
Billy Kaplan certainly heard it, the young man having dragged himself up into a tree house in Central Park to get some better reception. The loft was his own creation - a product which smelled like magic, for those in tune - slats of wood he carried there sewn together with the branches themselves to create a very natural looking enclosure. More natural than the man-made structures outside anyways.
His legs hung over the edge of the door, looking down at anyone who might pass by. No one seemed even remotely curious today. They all had grown accustomed to the peace which seemed to blanket New York at the moment, and not even his clothing choices could muster a second glance; over his casual clothes, which were simply a white t-shirt and some blue jeans, his trademark scarlet cloak rested on his shoulders. (reference)
He was a magical being, created to house the soul of a boy from another reality. Was it any surprise then that even his intermediate-level magic could tell someone was utilizing their magic-based skills nearby, then? It certainly was not his poor choice in mentor who appeared, although it felt very similar to the magic utilized by the mythological trickster; perhaps even the same, a more crude utilized magic by someone from Asgard? Loki was a Frost Giant, which is what gave him his skills versus those like Thor who naturally utilized strength. It was a worrying combination of power, should it turn out to house malevolence. He dropped from the tree perch, sending a text to his boyfriend instead where he was.
"Time to go on patrol, once again without the hero handbook..." A quiet laugh to himself.

Teddy Altman was lying on his bed flipping through the pages of a comic book. He was content with the day, and how it had gone so far, and he was looking forward to the text message from his boyfriend that would let him know when their moment of separateness would come to an end and they would be sharing the same space again. So when his phone vibrated in his pocket he pulled it out with quite a bit of enthusiasm and a smile on his face. Then he read the message.
“I’m going to loan you my handbook. Rule number one, NEVER go on patrol alone. Where are you at, I’ll meet you,” was his reply back. He quickly changed from his t-shirt and jeans into his sleeveless zip up vest, and black pants. His form changed after that, from the normal looking teenage guy with five piercings in each ear into a much bigger green teenage guy with five piercings in each ear; he could almost pass as younger version of the Hulk when he looked like this, which is where his codename Hulkling came from. He added an addition to this form, and that was large leathery wings, big enough to support him in flight. After his change in clothes and form, he was out his window with cell phone in hand, waiting for Billy to tell him where exactly he was supposed to be going.

The path grew steadily more deserted as the goddess walked, an area of the park where midgardians frequented sparsely at best; lined with massive oaks and maples and a small lake where ducks and swans floated on the water peacefully. The invisible thread that was leading her along suddenly dissolved, as if the breeze had carried it away. A frown pulled at her lips and her glamour dissipated, her features angling back to normal and her hair regaining its reddish tint. Gray eyes scanned across the pond while fingers twitched at her sides, purple sparks dancing off nails in an attempt to regain the trail.
Sigyn knew what she'd been following was not Loki, his magical trace had since disappeared off her radar since arriving on Midgard. The Trickster was a master at evading detection but not even he could hide from her forever, she'd run into him eventually but for now, she wanted to explore this grand park of sorts. Instead of wandering and searching physically for the trail she'd been previously following, the goddess sent out arcs of her purple magic along the ley-lines of the area. This was a much faster means of finding fellow magic-users or magical beings but it was also dangerous, she ran the risk of attracting whatever foul beasts lurked in this area of Midgard.

"I'm in Central Park today. Y'know, I will be wearing red and most likely texting in the air to get a better signil on my crappy phone. Hopefully nothing is going to happen that requires us, let alone both of us, but hey - can't complain about more time with you. See you soon, handsome."
Of course, there is never a time when nothing is going on. Almost immediately after Billy pushed the send button and the text went wizzing to Teddy's phone, something purple lept from the ground and ended at his chest.
Needless to say, he dropped his cell phone in shock. Whoops.
"Sometimes I swear Teddy must tell the future. So not telling him about this so he can say he told me so." He mumbled to himself, casual clothes turning bright blue with magic before shifting into his usual uniform. Someone was obviously looking for him - and unless he was a Skrull and/or Kree prince like a certain someone - he had no clue why. They obviously had a grasp on magic however, something Billy was familiar with. He had used it to find his mother, and to know how to use it was to know how to avoid it.
But the young man didn't, but rather he followed the magic through the air and readied himself for what was at the end. Back up was coming, so whats the worse that could happen?

Flew towards Central Park after getting the text. He forced himself to slow down, telling himself Billy can take care of himself if he gets into any trouble. He is just going around making sure there is no trouble, not in trouble.Yep Hulkling worried about his boyfriend a lot. It was a special talent of his really. Hulkling would type a message back to Billy after having calmed himself down a bit, "Alright, I will be there soon. Just be safe, I would hate to have to hurt something for hurting you."
Thankfully there were no foul creatures lurking in the immediate area, nothing dangerous that would be drawn by the rush of power along the leylines; however the goddess did find one path that led to very interesting magical source. Not even a half mile away really, was a presence that she did not recognize but could detect a familiar trace alongside the stranger's own signature. And then she felt a return brush of magic, a spark of blue that danced in front of her eyes. Sigyn felt her lips twitch into a faint smile and expanded her thoughts outwards, extending her mental reach with tendrils of purple light that danced in the air. Aha, I knew I sensed another sorcerer. Her thoughts would be a gentle whisper through Billy's own mind and then fire consumed the deity.
Sigyn re-appeared just a few yards away from Billy, smoothing the creases in her dress' skirt with an idle hand while lifting the other in a gesture of greeting. Gray eyes had taken on an amethyst pigment, head tilted into a questioning manner. She didnt say anything out loud, merely watching the young boy wearing the scarlet cape. Mentally chewing her lip over the trace she felt lingering about him. It couldnt be? Loki? What did he have to do with this kid?

Words in my head now? He breathed, stance tensing and a sudden unrest settling in his stomach. Following the leylines had lead him into the air - something he once considered an advantage, as Teddy would surely see his caped crusader - but he never intended for the confrontation to take place there. Not when the other apparently possessed telepathy, in addition to her proclamation of 'another sorcerer'. William Kaplan immediately countered by whispering his defenses up, mortal magic whose power laid in not the whispered word but rather the careful ear listening.
"You're new to the neighborhood," he yelled. Maybe yelling wasn't required, but hot damn he wanted to make a scene if it meant getting backup. While Billy was more than qualified to handle a number of things, the recent rash of crossings from other realms to Earth had him feeling uncomfortable; it was only a matter of time before all the activity attracted bigger fish, even those with stronger convictions than Thor, Loki or whoever this recent visitor was. The city was under his protection, unofficially, after all; encouraging words from more established heroes like Doctor Strange had pushed him to undertake this role. Perhaps he wasn't ready to protect the universe, but surely 'one of the realm's most promising socerers' could protect Central Park. ...right?
"I'm Wiccan of the Young Avengers. What business do you have... uh... shooting purple lines around central park and generally creeping me out and making a scene that'll have my boyfriend wondering what the hell I am doing alone facing you alone?" Because I was sort of hoping that I wasn't asking for trouble when I went on patrol, and that I could get home, cook dinner and then surprise Teddy by telling him to come over. Brown eyes glanced towards the ground where his cellphone laid, distracted for a moment.
