The following is posted on a local news website:

Local punk band Ferry ‘Cross the Mersey is buckling down this summer: new music, new concerts, new heights. Their tour in Las Vegas is less than a month away, and they’re already busy preparing for where they’re going to play next.

“I think… some more shows back home, definitely,” remarks band’s bassist ‘Hack’ thoughtfully. The band hails from London, but two out of the three members are foreign exchange students at New Versailles University. “School’s not taking up so much of my time anymore; I think that’s true for Scooter too? But more concerts, definitely, and more tunes! We’re even getting one or two played on the radio back home. There’ll be wicked stuff for this summer, for sure! Stay tuned!”

There isn’t too much of a punk scene in Louisiana, but they’re breaking that mold, playing shows a few times a month at venues like the Grey Sheep, Cracks, and even the Amaranto. Where the venues allow it their shows are all ages, and it’s one hell of an experience. Their energy and down-to-earth presence on stage makes for an exciting time, and clearly, the band is excited to have more opportunities to do what they love best.
