Hey, I know the group is still very much a WIP, but there are a few things I'm wondering...
Firstly, when it comes to each individual eventual planned world (atm, just Ivalice), are all RP threads within said worlds to be interconnected, or treated as separate isolated instances? I ask because whilst most of the informative pages on the group for Ivalice are of the Age of Technology (aka Golden Age), the original Tactics is set far in the future (over 1000 years later, after a great cataclysm); and there may be people who would prefer to RP in that time frame instead. If accommodations are to be made for both options, perhaps a topic title prefix could be used? Maybe [AoT] for Age of Technology and [WotL] for War of the Lions?
Secondly, is the character creation page a guide template for setting up full RPR character profiles, or is there going to be a specific place to post character sheets with information in that specific format?

This is a very good idea! It would help keep the two separate, as they do have different important maps and aspects. My own post is set in the War of the Lions era.
Great questions! My personal thoughts on what age we should start with is the Age of Technology, because that is an age of discovery, exploration and the flourishing of airship technology. Also after the Age of Technology; specifically in the War of the Lions era, Moogles and Viera become extinct (or at least EXTREMELY rare) after the great cataclysm. We’re still not sure what we’re going to do when we get there, but as I said, I think beginning at Old Valendian 710, In the Age of Technology (4 years after the events of Final Fantasy XII) would be best for now. In the end, it’s all up to Snipehunt though. There are discussions going on in the discord chat about set up and stuff, you’re all more than welcome to join if you’d like to.

We talked a bit on the Discord about this and decided to allow for both eras. Just tag AoT or WoTL when making your thread to let others know not to accidentally time travel. ;P
As for character profiles, there's no rule on how you should present them. The guide is just that, a guide, so feel free to ignore or edit it if it's missing information you would like your profile to include.

The Setting page has been updated with information about [WoTL] & [AoT]. Thanks for you input.
