Humanoid
[image]
Class: Mammal
Subspecies: Human, Nnos (dwarves),
Size range: Between 1 to 2 meters tall
Age range: Around 80 years on average
Planets: Eyremos (origin), and some small populations across the galaxy.
Factions: The Novaean People's Republic, the Commonwealth of Vaults, the Skylax Legion.
Description: Humanoids are medium-sized bipedal mammals from Eyremos. They are a tenacious and independent species that developed far away from the general strife of the universe. Long-limbed and nimble-fingered, all but one subspecies lack tails, and while their hair growth patterns are quite unique, they are unable to grow a coherent coat of fur across their bodies. Humanoids are notably adaptable, and specifically excell at running or travelling by foot for extended periods of time. While not the fastest or the strongest of the Sapient species, they are a hardy people that always manage to get a foothold in whatever place to wander into. Humans are also the only species who are able to shapeshift, through a magickally engineered mutation called the Therion Syndrome. Although the gene that activates this condition only exists in a handful of people, it does make for an unique and terrifyingly powerful differentiation from the otherwise tame and dependable humanoid mold. -
Ferae
[image]
Class: Mammal
Subspecies: Feli, Cani, Pholi
Size range: Between 1 to 3 meters tall
Age range: Around 60 years on average
Planets: Native and almost exclusively present on Tellus.
Factions: The Ristian Republic, The White Hand,
Description: To the Earthly reader, Ferae are anthropomorphic animal-people that can resemble all members of the Ferae mirorder, meaning almost all (land) carnivores and pangolins. Their overall Sapient species is seen as more of an umbrella term to them, as there are significant cultural and physical differences between members of the Cani (canines), Feli (felines), and Pholi (pangolins) subspecies, and their own respective breeds. Larger breeds like tigers and bears can grow up to 3 meters tall, whereas smaller breeds like stoats only grow to be 1 meter tall at best. All breeds and subspecies share the same bipedal template, however, with every Ferae (unless born otherwise) possessing two five-fingered hands and plantigrade feet. Ferae are a reclusive species that rarely fare outside of their homeworld of Tellus, partially for cultural reasons, and partially because they haven't invented interstellar space travel yet. -
