"Where am I to go? Why am I here? What am I to do? When am I to do so?" All these questions were in Lamon's mind yet he had no idea what to do with them, who to ask, or if they would ever be answered.
A peculiar disembodied voice fills the room. Both a stranger and reminiscent of something familiar, it replies.

"Greetings, Lamon. You are within a realm of infinite possibilities. Based on your answers to the questions I pose, you will be shown different worlds that you can choose from. But, be warned. The trials will be unrelenting and challenge you, should they choose to appear. Are you ready?"
Lamon collects his thoughts and weighs his options. He nods and says "Better for me to act now than later. I am ready."
Answer truthfully, these questions, and you will find that the worlds are accustomed to your personal...tastes...

1. Of outward strength and inward strength of the mind, which is most capable of besting a foe? There is no middle ground for this question.

2. Should judgement be laid out with the fullest extent like a pillar unmovable throughout the ages, or should it be like clay, molding to one's whims?

3. Who is truly evil? The wise man that turns away his apprentice with secret sinister motives, or a criminal that has murdered, but has done many a good deed as atonement?

4. When challenging a foe stronger than you in every aspect, would it be wise to destroy him head with an equally strong party or slowly weaken his life energy solo?
After hearing all of these questions, Lamon takes a minute to weigh his values. He proceeds to answer to the questions as shortly as he can.

"For the first one I have to go with inward strenght. It is much more versitile.
The second answer is, that judgement is all just one's ideals. It is thus not set in stone and is flexible.
For the third question I'd like to say that neither us truly evil. A master is allowed to chose to turn away his apprentice and a criminal who has killed who wants to redeem themseves is not truly evil. If forced to choose I'd pick the criminal to die though.
And for the final one I will say it depends on the enemy. But in majority of the times a group with equal power is the better option. It has a much bigger psychological effect on the enemy for example."
"Strength, Complexity, Neutrality, and strength in numbers." Are these the values you possess?
"In one form or another."
Then it is settled.

Choose your world.

004 - Battlefield of the Mind

Out of the options clearly option 004 - Battlefield of the mind, was more interesting to Lamon

"I choose 004 No doubt about it"
"As it is written...so shall it be..."

Suddenly, everything turned dark.
