The dream currently has a very limited IC holiday list of things that are celebrated within the dream, such as the anniversary of the opening of the tavern and King's Day. However, there's been a request/suggestion we have more of these going on. It gives those less involved in the main plot (whatever it might be at the time) and even those who are still involved in that something else/different to focus their characters on too. And so this is your chance as our players to suggest what IC holidays you think the dream could possibly have. Just remember, the IC holidays don't necessarily have to link in to our own holidays.
We do ask that you keep in consideration patches and DS. While we can make a few things and look for others we all also have jobs and won't always have quite that much free time to make something elaborate. The same applies to DS abilities. Though, of course, feel free to send patch items and DS code to help us out in that case if you have the things already!

So turning everyone neon pink and green for Wear Your Lilly Day in June is out, then?
Not sure the guards especially would appreciate the possibility of being neon pink, even just for a day!
To get this ball rolling here's some of my own suggestions for IC holidays and what month they might happen in..
JAN - winter ball
FEB- something Valentine's related
MAR - good luck for the crops celebrations/hope they grow well/arrival of spring
APR - april fools
MAY -
JUN - exotic market day (Olde World Market day?)
JUL - summer dance
AUG -
SEP - harvesting of the crops
OCT - halloween
NOV - travelling theatre
DEC - various christmas bits, IC secret santa
And/or incorporating some of the holidays that furcadia celebrates game-wide.

The celebrations that Furc made is awesome. Danival Winter Festival, M'Rill's Festival of the Sun, (not sure which prime) Wolf howl, and Jemmion's Rameen Festival!
Any ideas on when/how long these festivals take place? Just taking a quick look at 2014s fesitvals and here's what I've come up with so far (they haven't much filled in their 2015 calendar yet)..
Danival Winter Festival - not sure
M'Rill's Festival of the Sun - the contest deadline was 20th July, award ceremony was on 29th August
Wolfhowl - this usually ties in with Halloween, stuff for it took place between 18th October til 27th
Jemmion's Rameen Fesitval - 28th August
Yuletide - started christmas eve and ended on 30th December

Danival's winter fest went up around the 13th of December this year; it's always up for Furcadia's birthday on the 16th, and continues through January until whenever the Sweetheart Ball comes in.
Don't forget about Jujinka's Spring Festival, either! That one usually starts sometime in... the end of March? I think. It goes on through April or May.

How about something along the lines of St. Patrick's day, or at least some kind of Erish holiday?
