Hi my lovely friends!
How have you been doing recently? I know you're all working super hard on yourself and make great efforts to work with and through your problems. I've been seeing a lot of this lately and it makes me happy, you're all doing a fantastic job!
Even if it feels on some days you make no progress, please don't give up. It can take some time for habits to form and stick, as well as processing your feelings and emotions. Don't let this temporary stagnation discourage you - it's perfectly normal and doesn't mean you're failing one bit, we all go through this.
Did you know that being more kind to yourself can make a drastic impact in how other people see you? Sometimes when we're in a rut and struggling, we feel we're burdening those around us.
"Sorry for being a drag. I know I always mess things up."
What if I told you that by changing what you say, you can help out not only your friends, but also yourself?
"Thank you for spending time with me. Thanks for helping me out with this."
Being unkind to yourself by putting the blame on you and apologizing for things out of your control is a severe drain of your precious energy, and it can be draining for your loved ones too. It's not always easy, but by changing your "Sorry" into a "Thank you", you actively work on shifting your perspective. You will fill yourself with a positive energy that others feel good about as well.
Confused about how this works? Take a look at this site!
I highly encourage everyone to give this a try and see how it feels and affects you. As with all things, this isn't something that happens overnight. Stick with it for a couple of weeks, through the good and the bad, and you might just surprise yourself at how much better life can get with one simple change!
