Did you know that making someone else feel good about themselves has been shown to make yourself feel good too?
Compassion will make you happy.
It's scientifically proven!
Showing you care comes in many shapes and forms, and around RPR it's no different. Writing someone a nice kudos, helping Kim out with bug reports when you run into issues to keep the site in tip-top condition, welcoming newbies to the forums or even just dropping by in chat to have a friendly conversation with others all counts! Heck, even a friendly guestbook comment or a PM saying 'Hi, I was thinking of you and I wanted to let you know you make me smile!' works wonders.
So here's the deal: I challenge you to do something nice for someone around the site in whichever way you can. It can be one of the above options or something you thought of yourself. You can even go so far as to schedule in a 'do good day' every week where you find new ways to make others happy.
Please remember to take care of yourself first. Be compassionate when you don't feel strained or stressed. You are not obligated to do this, nor should you do it right now. Just consider it and see if you can work it in your day somehow and reap the rewards of making others happy! I promise you it will do you good.
