The House of Saul is situated in the Woods somewhere in North America. You wish you knew more, but damn, has that guy got some strong hiding spells on the place. The grand majority of the land is wooded, with a clearing in which there is a large field (for ceremonial magicks and gatherings). The House of Saul itself is to the South, which consists of a main hall, an extensive library, the kitchens (and dining hall), a lecture hall, and a separate wing that leads to Saul's living quarters. Or so one would assume, since they're always locked, physically and magickally. To the West is a grand greenhouse of at least three stories that houses a ridiculous amount of greenery of both friendly and dangerous types. To the East is a separate building that is the Apprentices' Quarters. Here, each of the students is housed in their own room - all dozen of them. Each room is about 10ft by 15ft and populated by a Queen sized bed. There is a large bookshelf on one wall, and a window that looks out into the woods or the field (depending on which side of the house you're on). There is one bathroom. It has four stalls, two urinals (tucked graciously in the back behind a wall) and three shower stalls.
Meal times are 7-8a (breakfast), 12-1p (lunch), 2-3p (afternoon tea), 6-7p (dinner) and 9-10p (supper). During these times, the kitchens serve meals in the Dining Hall, and outside of these times, only Kitchen staff is permitted in the kitchen. You are forbidden to eat inside the House of Saul except in the Dining Hall, but cook outs and picnics have been known to happen. If you're quick, you might be able to smuggle some food out during meals to enjoy at your own leisure outside or in your own rooms, but you'd best not let the Professor see you. Also, the Cook is not someone to argue with.
If you're looking for something interesting, you might try hanging out in the front sitting room of the Apprentices' Quarters and talking with your fellow students. They say there's a dragon roaming the Library, but there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason as to when he's there and when he's not. There are fae in the woods, and a number of other magickal creatures - some of which are fun, and some of which aren't. If you go to the Northeast, there's a small glen, and to the Northwest it's said there's a cave, but I've never been daring enough to venture out that way. To the South East, just a little farther than you really want to walk, is a lake. It's a bit of a hike, but the fishing is really good in the season, and I hear there's mermaids there when the weather is nice.
