Okay, I'm going to hate myself. This is an old adoptable, but I can't link to the actual picture on deviantart. The artist has deleted all her old work. I can, if you want, give you her contact info.

History: Born to a single mother who believed to have conceived with the help of the God, Kel was always told he was special. People treated him differently because of both his wings and his mother. He started to try to fly early on in his life and never quite succeeded, he doesn't know but his bones aren't hollow and over all he's too heavy to fly on such little wings. He boarded his first boat when he was ten and it was almost as exhilarating as the idea of flying. He pushed and pushed and on his sixteenth birthday his mother allowed him to begin work on a small ship. A little over of a year's worth of work he's no longer home sick and enjoys the work, even if it's hard.

Personality: He's sort of like the 'devil-may-care' guy. He's got an attitude and doesn't look out for his well being at all. He thinks rather highly of his abilities and therefore can be rash and over confident.
Mutation: Siddharth's body is very slowly evolving. It's not noticeable on a good day, but when he's tired or stressed, Sidd's body has "outbreaks." These can include strange appendages growing, like a tail, or horns, even the occasional extra limb. He has also been known to sprout fur, often blue in color and basically lose aspects of his humanity. He's really touchy about his issues and often snaps at people for mentioning them or all together storms away when they're brought up.
Weapons: His body is mostly his weapon. He's skilled in a sort of mixed martial arts and very fast/agile.
History: It may not come as a surprise that Sid was not an easy baby. From birth, any time the infant began to cry or become fussy, weird things started to happen to him. One day a crying fit would make him blue or rainbow. Another might cause wings to sprout from his back. After he calmed down the strangeness would ebb and he would look entirely normal again. But it was harder for his mother to think of him as "normal". As he grew older and his outbreak fits became less regular, his mother thought he'd outgrown them. But on the occasion that they did happen, she wouldn't be able to handle them and Sidd began to see himself as some sort of freak. He learned to regard his mutations as wrong and disgusting, reflecting what he saw in his mother's eyes.
As an adult, Sidd still has a childlike fear and angst toward the weirdness of his body. He has trouble calming down when an outbreak occurs which causes them to last longer than they need to. Often, he avoids people for this very reason. But with his mother gone and a growing need for self sufficiency, Sidd had to learn to how to be an adult. And that includes earning money and feeding ones self. So Sidd is a man for hire. A jack of all trades if you will, he travels to find a place to work as quickly as he can before moving on. Before an outbreak ostracizes him.

Personality: Really, really dumb. airy, pleasant, always friendly, a little dreamy, overly sensitive, the smallest thing can bring her to tears, good or bad. Touchy feely. Naive, trusting no matter how many times someone proves that they aren't trustworthy, clumsy.
Weapons: Druidic magic, however, 90% of her spells fail. She carries a walking stick, that she sometimes uses as a sort of club, if she needs to defend herself.
History: All her life Millie has been greeted with a smile and a nod from just about everyone she's interacted with. She tries really hard, but almost always falls short in some way. She is remarkable beauty, which is lucky because she really doesn't have much else going for her.
Recently Millie has been forced to leave home. Her elders sending her off to experience the world (probably this was a decision based on the fact that they were tired of babysitting her). On her own now, she is trying to make a name for herself, and prove her worth, and mostly... she's failing.

Abilities: Shapeshifting! It's the only type of magic she practices, but she only chooses to shift into a canine creature, and at times that ability is out of control. It can happen when she feels extreme emotions.
Personality: Mute, cautious, curious, dumb, protective... She cares for those who care for nature and hates having her personal space (or the personal space of the ones she's attached to) violated. Exceedingly sleepy all the time. SERIOUSLY YO. SO TIRED.
History: Not much is known about her history. She grew up in the forest, raised by an elderly man for but a few years, taught minor shapeshifting. When he passed, his familiar continued to raise the girl and keep her out of trouble. Her curiosity about civilized folk has her with VERY little knowledge of common language, so little that it barely helps her in understanding anything at all.
She likes exploring, though, and has been doing such since she was young.

I just wanted to test out his wings and I think I could draw them. Just not his hands. Or his face. Or his chest.
