I don't know if this what brought up before. Honestly, I've been checking the progress of this group randomly on my phone over the weekend. I had a family crisis I've been dealing with as well so it made it hard to focus.

Are only artists allowed input on the comic and it's characters? I think it might be beneficial if we had maybe a writing crew or something who could throw in plot points or storyline ideas. I know this probably wasn't the way the comic was done originally, but with RPR being so diverse, not everyone can draw. So it might be nice to reach out to a few who want to participate in another way.

Just a thought.
Sorry, I'm going to have to say no to writers. This'll change the focus of the comic from 'each artist gets complete freedom to take the comic in any direction they please' to 'each artist follows a script written by the RPR community.'

It's not a bad idea in itself, I just feel like it falls outside the scope of a chain story.

I have mentioned on the character submission page that you are willing to do sketches for people's characters - so people can to submit a character even if they can't draw.

I understand that RPR is diverse, but the previous forum this was done at was also a roleplay forum, not an artists one. I participated about 10 years ago, and my art was awful even though I put a lot of work into it. But I was allowed to participate anyway. I wouldn't have such nostalgia for this group if I was just forced to sit and watch. That's why there's no application for artists. I don't need you to submit a sample to prove you can draw up to some arbitrary standard.

The same goes for RPR. If someone really wants to participate, I'm not going to refuse them.
Aw... I actually signed up as an artist thinking we would be drawing from written story prompts at least. That's a shame, but I suppose it's my bad. I can still get something out come my turn cause it's not technically a blank canvas. Still be fun.
