The people of the Lux System live in a vast galaxy, and there is no doubt many undiscovered alien species out there. Some are big, some are small, some aren't even somewhat humanoid. This is an ongoing list of discovered aliens.

((For now, all we have here are the basic descriptions but we can add their cultures and different races within each species.))

Jarix

Even the smallest Jarix is easily the size of a large human. They are generally humanoid but possess a head reminiscent of a carnivorous dinosaur on the end of a serpentine neck, with spikes running down it. They possess great strength and can take a lot of hits before going down. Jarix technology is rudimentary at best; space travel is possible through scavenged tech other species and weaponry consists of large, unsubtle gunpowder weapons and melee attacks. Many Jarix has left the planet to seek fortune and glory in battle as mercenaries or bounty hunters, something their aptitude for combat and physical power makes them well suited for.
Kaorex

Kaorex are shorter than humans usually, around four to five feet tall. Kaorex are feathered and have different patterns, they also have more wing-like arms, but are only able to fly a few feet off of the ground. Kaori are also usually weak, as their bones are hollow to allow for flight. Kaorex also have beaks similar to that of birds. The Kaori are neutral by nature, choosing to never take sides in a conflict. They prefer to work as traders, and sometimes as doctors, using natural and exotic remedies. They have no central government, living in trade caravans more commonly called “flocks” that mostly consists of family members and close friends. It’s rare to see a single Kaorex alone for a long period of time. They will abide by the rules that are set by other species at trade stations, but on their home planet, you can buy just about anything if you have the money. The Kaorex native language is very complex, however, and very few outsiders have actually learned it, despite the Kaorex having mostly learned English already. They don’t seem rather keen on sharing their native tongue with non-Kaori.
Neriths

Native to Nylis, they are humanoid reptilians with green, scaly skin. Small fins stick out from various parts of their bodies. Compared to humans, they have roughly similar height. Neriths are characterized as being resilient to even the harshest of desert winds. The Neriths have existed in Nylis long before the Imperials but have only thrived near a large oasis known now as Prosperity Lake. It is now occupied by the Imperial Confederacy. In the eyes of the Imperials, Neriths are uncivilized, lesser beings especially since, technology-wise, Neriths use only bows and spears. Their culture, however, is rich in mythology, diverse, and incredibly moralistic. Currently, most modern-day Neriths reside in the Imperial as indentured servants or as soldiers. Many members of the Rebellion are also Nerith.
Martians

Martians are small--ranging from three to four feet tall--with big, bulging eyes and long, tentacle hair. Their skin tones are all sorts of colors, green, red, blue, gray, etc. Their skin is marked by stripes. They have four arms.

Martians had previously inhabited Mars in relatively small numbers due to the harsh climate, though they managed to survive a few thousand years without much interference. Martians live in small towns of a few hundred people. Their houses were large and made of sand and stone. Domed roofs topped these houses. They have primitive tools that are slightly more advanced than those of the Nerith but once the UA and IC invaded, they were no match. Martians have been pushed on to the brink of extinction due to the sheer size of both sides.

The remaining Martians live underground in three major cities, completely hidden from the rest of the human population. There are around 2,000 Martians alive.
Synthetic Humans

Also called Synths, these robots are created by Whitmore Enterprises to look, feel, and act exactly like a human. The UA originally contracted Whitmore to create these robotic creatures so they could serve in the military as Star Fleet captains or MPs. While those goals were met very quickly, the company continued to create the most realistic human copycat they could. Of course, these Synths haven't been met with to kind of eyes in the public. They may not technically be a separate species or even 'aliens' but they are definitely their own unique people, though people debate that heavily.
