Discussion topic with some of my own ideas. Just because what I write is written more like a wikipedia page than a suggestion doesn't mean it's valid, I don't know what the hell I am doing with culture. Several of these are left blank because they aren't something I put too much thought into quite yet. This world still has a lot of work to be put into it.

What is the fashion like?
Each race's fashion choices usually differ and cross paths in certain areas, but a generalization would be as follows:
Human garb consists mostly of solid colored clothing, favoring different colors in different areas. Many of the clothing traditions have stayed the same, with the main difference being a favor towards long draping overcoats and more padded cloth based textiles.
Kaori tend to enjoy lot's of patterned clothing as well as vibrant colors, being happy to mix all sorts of colors they can into very messy robes. The few Kaori that explore and fair space tend to keep their vibrant colored nature but trade in their robes for more practical padded clothing.
Jarix favor thick, leathery clothing with more muted colors. Lot's of their traditional clothing is very revealing, so Jarix off of their homeworld might use customized jackets and pants more often.

What traditions are in the UA and the IC?

What holidays are there?

What kind of foods are there?

I believe food would remain largely the same as now at least as far as human culture is concerned.

What is the education like?

What religions are there?

What age is considered a legal adult?

Depends upon the species. Humans mature around the same rate but life expectancy would go up so they might average it out to 20-21.

Jarix mature faster than humans and have a mildly decreased life expectancy so they might have their bar set at 13-16.

Kaori I haven't put much thought into.

What kind of games are played?

Many remnants of the past hold up well, especially basic card games. People still buy game consoles and newer created board games, but advanced Virtual Reality parlors are like modern arcades and are extremely popular.

What are the actual governments of the Rebellion, IC and UA like?

This one I am quite knowledgeable of. The Rebellion does not have any centralized government and comprises of several individual groups that unite under the name that the UA gave them, sharing information and resources freely between one another as an underground network.

The Imperial Confederacy elects a Chancellor for life or until retirement, then a new Chancellor is elected. These Chancellor's work with a counsel that they choose to make decisions for the empire. Their main government building is public, and anyone who wants to step out on the floor of the Counsel may input their opinions and ideas during any meeting. The Chancellor often makes independent decisions, however.

The United Alliance elect their President for a term of 12 years while also electing heads of each federal department for 4 years at a time, making every third election much larger. The President may make independent decisions but cannot operate outside of his jurisdiction, which is well maintained.
Fashion
Nerith fashion is made up of vests, jackets and short robes. Common colors are of cool-colored hues, ranging from pale greens to dark purples. Imagine Roman togas but sci-fi. Nerith patterns consists of bright-colored stripes and spots. Amongst aristocrats, a large belt is worn around the waist, adorned with with vibrant patterns and beads, a call back to an era before IC rule. Currently, knee-high boots engraved with neon markings are the most popular item in the market. A common head accessory is the beaded braid.

Traditions
  • Waving your hands in an arc motion and bowing your head is a sign of farewell.
  • Giving away beads is a sign of close friendship as beads represent family and heritage.
  • Hippocampi (mythical creature) are like dogs to Neriths; they are the best friends, protectors and helpers

    Holidays
Every fifth orbit of Na'len, Na'ehal ("for the Old") is celebrated in honor of the ancient civilization that once dwelled on Nylis. Neriths wear costumes, paint their skins and wear masks bearing the strange squiggle pattern that appear in the ruins of Na'len. Celebrated only on Na'len.

When the moons align once a year, Na'uyahl ("for the Past") is celebrated in honor of a free life before United Alliance and Imperial Confederacy. Celebrated throughout Nerith, though, only by the poor.

    Foods
Prosperity Stew - Boiled using the water from the Prosperity Lake. Sniptails, zorki (a small pale blue fruit) and ryoberries are added into the soup. Ryoberries give Prosperity Stew its distinctive blue hue. Silvergrass is sprinkled in to add flavoring. Sweetlilies give Prosperity Stew its sweet scent.

    Education
Education is seen as a duty for every parent and family to do. Whether or not you pass an entrance exam reflects your upbringing from your family.

    Legal Adult Age
    17 years.

    Games

    Government
Nylis is controlled by the Imperial Confederacy and is led by a Counsel governor. Before IC occupation, Nylis was ruled by a monarchy.

Nylis is completely under Imperial control, just so you know :)
