It's not letting me reply on the In-Character forum saying I must post with an approved character or somesuch, did I do something silly?
Go to the top, click "Apply with another character," and apply using whatever character you want to use for Nira! 
Basically since those forums are marked as IC, you need to post as a charrie and not just as your main profile. I put both of my Serra characters on one profile.
