  • The world of Ayrale was very distinct from Gaea. Instead of being covered with gray cities, corruption of all sorts and the scars of so called progress, Ayrale had vast green lands, covered mostly with dense forests and woods. There were a few deserts, not too large, and a few chains of mountains.

The anthros always lived in the far west lands of Ayrale, where they settled their capital city. Differently from the anthros in Gaea, they were more aware of their duty to live harmoniously with nature.

However, when the first portals were discovered, and chained Gaea, Ayrale and Miaggie, some greedy people traveled to the forest lands and decided to explore and extract what they could find there, from natural resources to unknown magical resources. As they arrived, they quickly sneaked to the east lands, where the native anthros never ventured.

They found a perfect place to start a city, secluded from the west by some large mountains, and hidden behind countless miles of forests. They found intelligent life there, and learned the name of that place was Kelestra.

The Kelestrian foxes, the most numerous race living on the Kelestrian Plateau, didn't think much of the anthros at first, as they reavealed themselves as dedicated students of magic and science. The foxes already had some contact with the Rixials, and they were also devoted to magic and science, so, at first, nothing bad happened.

As Kelestra developed and reached the point where the plateau was not enough, the anthros spread their domain to the grasslands just beside it. They started a large revolution that migrated most families to the new area, leaving the plateau only as the industrial zone. Soon, the plateau was basically a large laboratorial complex, with few other structures, such as libraries and hospitals.

That was when the foxes started to learn magic. The anthros, trying to keep their secrets, started building sentinels to fight off the curious foxes, and they managed to banish them to the Forest of Zyfria.

The Kelestrian foxes, now living with the Rixials in the magic forest, became magefoxes. They wanted their lands back, and started a war against Kelestra. The anthros didn't hold back, and perfected their sentinels while they continued to develop on their studies of magic and science.

To win the war against the foxes, the anthros started the Omega Project, which was supposed to create an exceptional living creature to defeat once and for all the magefoxes. That project backfired though, and the Kelestrian Plague was the catastrophic result of it.

The plague had its center where they were creating the Omega, and it literally devoured all life and magic on Kelestra, leaving it as the apocalyptic lands it is now. Most of the anthros living outside of the plateau just fled to the west forever, and lefft behind the ghost lands that were called the Kelestrian Wastelands.

Some brave anthros decided to survive in Kelestra, but most died not long before. Today, very few anthros still live there, but most are corrupted and/or crippled by the constant war against the magical plague and the remaning sentinels.

The magefoxes decided to leave Kelestra for good, but the most curious would set up exploring parties to delve into the dangerous plateau to retrive important items and knowledge the anthros managed to obtain. Soon, the plague was a threat to the Forest of Zyfria, and the Guardians of the Forest was a group devoted to find and deal with any corruption. They mostly secured the borders of the forest, and kept the plague away with lots of wards and cleansing spells.

Many years later, they couldn't hold the plague back anymore. It started infesting multiple areas at the border of the forest, and it seemed hungry as it spread into the forest, quickly reaching the places where most magefoxes and Rixials lived.

Forced to fight or live, the foxes were ready to leave their lands once again, but the only 8-tailed mage decided to strike the heart of the problem. He decided to travel into Kelestra and defeat the Omega. No one knows for sure what happened, but they believe both died in the fight, since the magefox never returned, but the plague stopped spreading like a fire. As the plague didn't stop when the Omega was supposedly killed, they finally left Zyfria and traveled to the south-east.

The Rixials traveled the other way, to the western forest, closer to the anthros, as they always liked the trinkets, leaving only a thin connection to the foxes, but the contact became rarer and rarer with time, until it stopped.

When the magefoxes found a decent place to settle themselves, they found out there were already magefoxes living there, and they were warmly welcomed. The hosts were slightly different, in their way of thinking and their average power. The Zyfrian foxes felt the ones they found there had a stronger sense of freedom, and they were much more optimistic. Having faced consecutive defeats in protecting their home lands, it was only natural for the Zyfrians to be considerably more gray.

They also learned something they never knew possible: magefoxes were all capable of reaching eight tails, as they found a few living there. Also, they learned even nine tailed foxes were possible, but there were only three known nine tailed ones.

The Magefoxes were now in the lands of Cey, a 9-tailed magefox. She created a lot of life-blooming places in the south-east, including the Ceylis' Forest. Cey was the 9-tailed magefox believed to be related to the water element, since her lands were gifted with many rivers and lakes. Her lands were split in five main areas: The Desert's Edge, to the north, was the border between Cey's lands and the desert; the East Coast, where Cey's lands met the ocean; the Ceylis' Forest, the central area, where the magefoxes settled themselves; the Tundra, to the south, being the coldest part of Cey's lands; and the Pale Forest, to the west, an area Cey kindly offered to Kel to live after Kelestra was plagued. Cey lives somewhere in the central area of her lands, but she doesn't reveal herself unless it's some extremely important issue.

Kel was the 9-tailed magefox believed to be related to the earth. Creator of Kelestra, now he's a depressed god. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he wants to make the anthros pay for what they did, but his wisdom tells him to move on. His people tend to be labeled evil, since they're more willing to dominate and sometimes are involved in wars among themselves.

The last known 9-tailed magefox was Zyf, creator of the Forest of Zyfria. He's believed to represent the fire element, always passionate, ready to love and hate. Zyf thinks of himself as an artist; his creations are all scattered around the world, and it's said he's somewhere close to Kelestra, in the mountains. People in Cey's lands believe Zyf found the fourth 9-tailed magefox, supposedly a female, believed to be related to the air element, and they're building some kind of city in the sky together.
