"Created during the early days of GHI by the former headmaster, Edmund Lloyd, the Integrated Magical Device is an essential device given to any student or professor that attends the Institute.

This advanced piece of technology is very useful for everyday school life at NGHI. Some of the functions include communicating with other students or professors, whether that be using instant message, or through other media, such as sending videos, pictures or audio. The IMD can also be used to use the social media site, 'Instabook', which is very popular amongst the students attending the institute. Not only this, but users can also use the IMD to surf the Internet.
Other functions of the device include ordering a delivery from the school's café, and users with a higher privilege in the school can also track students and professors who are in possession of an IMD.

However, there are some downfalls to the technology. Obviously, the device invades the privacy of some users since administers can track them without their knowledge. Also, because of the fact that instant messaging is available to everyone who owns the device, these can also be hacked into by people with higher authority, which includes the Headmaster."

"Hi. I am the Counselor of this institution and I just want to welcome all the new students to this state-of-the-art school. For those who haven't registered with me yet, please do so immediately. We don't want to have to label you as a trespasser, now do we?

In any case, I'll always be in my office, but if something comes up, I probably will leave the registration procedures to a Student Council member or my dear robot friend Rotundus. If you try to register upon nightfall, you'll find yourselves out of luck. If you arrive at the institute during that time, well, let's just say that it'd be best for you to hide until morning. Our soldiers are here to protect our school, and we've established a new order: to shoot any intruders on sight.

Upon registering, your integrated magical device (IMD) will provide you with additional support and tips to get you started in our beautiful island. Take this advice wisely and try to be communicative. Any problems you have? Take them straight to our Student Council or speak to me directly. You'll know where to find me.
