Outlands

Step 1. Make sure you have read through all the dreams rules.

Step 2. Next, let's pick what you want to play! You can play any animal that is 1.) Native to Africa and 2.) Is a real life creature that is not extinct!

Step 3. Lets say for ease you made your character in to a Male Lion! So you will need to go to Furre Editor in-game, open it up and log in. Then change your species to Feline and hit the floppy disk save button in the bottom left! Then close your characters Furcadia window, go back to the edit screen, and hit the big play button in the bottom right! It should open a new window for you with your character now changed to look like the Male Lion avatar in the dream. Alternatively, you can just say !lion in game.

Step 4. Check your colours! On the rules page under Designs and Colours there is a list of what acceptable 'realistic' colours you are allowed to have on your avatar. This is to keep the dream consistent! While you have the Furcadia Editor open it's good to make sure you're all dream legal!

Step 5. When your avatar is ready and you have read all the dreams rules, you're good to go! You can walk into the In Character area (the little grey cave you see as you first enter!) and you are ready to roleplay! - To make a post, you start typing in the little text box at the bottom of your window. Starting your post with a ; or your characters name at the front of it will make it post in 3rd person which is the expected way to do it!

An example:
";sat down and barked." Would then appear in game as "Outlands sat down and barked."

Step 6. Don't be worried about asking for help! Roleplay with others can be scary, especially when you walk into a canon RP such as a Furcadia dream, even more so with a whole bunch of strict rules like Outlands! But don't worry. We're super friendly. We want to roleplay with you just as much!

Step 7. If you are feeling confident, why not use the Furcadia editor to write up a character description about your lion? Even better, why not make them a website!
