1. Role Play Etiquette:
-
No Godmoding - Actions that are taken against other players should be written as an attempted action instead of automatically connecting. We also expect players to attempt to balance their characters as well as possible.
No metagaming - This includes, but it is not limited to: taking information gathered through out-of-character means (such as a character website, or an OOC conversation) and applying to the character's knowledge; or using any type real-life knowledge that is inappropriate for the era (the dream setting is the mid-1500s).
2. Please keep in mind that this dream is M16+. What this means is:

Coarse language, mild sexual discussion, moderate violence, and mild adult themes may be encountered, but extreme violence and sexual content are not allowed.
It is absolutely prohibited to roleplay scenes that are based on sexual assault or age play.
Linking to obscene content in the dream or through your RPR is not allowed. This includes images that are sexual in nature. This does not include nude images in the RPR as a reference, but it is not allowed to be linked directly from the description.
3. Be respectful when it comes to other players, dreams, and communities. You may think it is all right to make fun of someone who quit years ago, but other players may remember and still be in communication with them. We strive to shy away from talking about other dreams and instead seek to work with some rather than mocking them.
4. Anything that causes a permanent change to the dream needs to be discussed with an admin beforehand. If no admins were available during the event where the damage would be caused, there needs to be a pause in the roleplay until it can be settled.
5. Acceptable Characters:

Species: We don't have an exact list of acceptable species. You play what you create, but do keep in mind to keep your character balanced and to NOT base your character off of preexisting books, series, comics, movies, etc. What does this mean? You can be a vampire, but you cannot be Lestat. You can be a martial artist, but you cannot be Goku. We also do not accept Gods, impossible hybrids, or intentional mockery of another player's character.
Furcadia canon: We accept the existence of the Furcadia canon but are NOT based on it. Feel welcomed to use it on your character's backstory, and to even mention some of it in your roleplay.
6. Discipline is handed often time on a case by case basis -- one person may outright receive a ban for engaging in extremely disturbing actions while another person may break a minor rule and only receive a warning. There is no uniform punishment and typically no three-strike rule. -

The Commodore Admiral has officially announced that Ilius is no longer mayor. This means that the position of mayor, the person responsible for allocating the city's budget, is now open. Interested parties should prepare a speech, which they will give publically over the weekend.

The Commodore has announced that a recent bout of hangings””twelve canine men in total””is in connection with Wolf Brothers activity. Many in the town are pleased to see that something is being done. Others whisper that it's all for show, that the men on the hanging posts did nothing to deserve their fate.The End?

The bounty notice that was posted for Kalix'nial's head has been taken down. So has the notice calling Alauntree Baenduis to trial. In their place, a new posting, a call to arms for mercenaries to join the fight against the Wolf Brothers and restore peace to Perdition's Rock!Custody

After a brief altercation in the tavern, it seems that Commodore Admiral Kalix'nial has been taken into the custody of the master of the city's castle.
In unrelated news, the Sea Guardian was seen to surface in the harbor, staring at the city for a few minutes. The locals are taking this as a sign...Refuge

Three Serpent guards report back to Kalix that Alauntree Baenduis seems to have disappeared. The last she was seen was when they were pursuing her through the forest, intent on arresting her. Currently, she has been given refuge in Erebus Castle. While she is not a prisoner, she is not allowed to...
