Civil unrest continues to grow on Perdition. How is it possible that the Serpents have not eradicated the Wolf Brothers yet, after they've launched so many successful attacks against the people? How is it that Kalix'nial, the supposed captain of the civil guard, continues to grow in power and influence in the wake of their attacks? Not only does he now own the tavern that they burned down, but the mayor is supposedly locked up in the infirmary, kept under guard by his men.
