One of Team Rocket's four admins, Proton grew up in the inmost parts of Celadon City. I wise warrior from the South once commented "Celadon. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy." Growing up in a poor neighborhood on top of in a crime-ridden city sowed the seeds for a formerly unassuming thug to rise to an important position in Team Rocket. Hired at the tender age of 15 to Team Rocket, Proton showed some degree of aptitude for extortion missions. 5 years before Team Rocket relocated to Orre, Proton engaged a recent trainer named Ethan during a mission which involved the (painless but messy) removing of Slowpoke tails, banned under Pokemon Trade laws, and was defeated after a protracted fight. Proton lost to Ethan again during the Radio Tower attack. Proton, blaming himself that a thorn in Team Rocket's side managed to leave an infected wound, Proton trained rigorously, in the same way most trainers trained. After 5 years of undercover fighting experience, Proton is stronger than his counterparts save Archer, who's natural skill managed to only barely lose out to Ethan. Recently, a recruit named Joe is part of Proton's squad. Proton has yet to comment or form an opinion of the young man as of yet.

Zyklon was Proton's first Pokemon. Found during a field trip to Cinnabar Island, he quickly found use for his friend in heist jobs during his early days in Team Rocket. Though he acts like a buffoon sometimes, his demolition skills are bar none the best in Team Rocket.
Ariana (referred to by species name around namesake)

Ability: Corrosion
Moves: Flamethrower, Sludge Wave, Dragon Pulse, Captivate
Ariana was a lucky catch during a vacation in Alola. As seductive as her namesake, most Pokemon find themselves unable to break free of her feminine wiles. Not once has Proton dared to mention her nickname in front of the real Ariana, and he hasn't really used Ariana the Salazzle in front of her either.
