An orphanage for abandoned or orphaned young Pokemon with nowhere else to go.

Currently, Nido and Ran had been in their bedroom. It was late, but the two felt they couldn't sleep...well, at least Ran did.

Nido gave her an annoyed look from the bed. "Raaaan, go to sleep!" he hissed, grumbling and pulling the covers over his face.

Ran huffed, pausing in her childish twirling about the room. "Aw, Nido. I wanna play. I can't get sleepy. I'm too happy!" she said.

Togepi, Pichu, and Teddiursa all shared a bedroom. Teddi with her own bed and the other two with a bunk. Togepi looked down from the top bunk and would watch as Teddi slept, but hearing the twins next door was making her struggle to keep sleeping. Pichu would be reading a manga on the bottom bunk. Togepi huffed a little and jumped down from the top to head to the door before looking back at Pichu whispering. "I'll be right back. You should go to sleep too, Pichu. It's past your bedtime." Pichu would look up at Togepi pouting a little. "I wanna finish my manga first." She complained in a whisper. Togepi gave her a look before he pointed to her bed. "Bed....Now." He whispered back. Pichu huffed and turned to pull the covers over her. Togepi smiled and quietly chuckled before heading out the door. He went to the Nido twins door, and opened it. "Hey, guys, can you quiet down, please? Teddi's trying to sleep and she can hear you." He told them giving a concerned look. "I thought you guys would be in bed already." He commented. With the Nido twins, Pichu, and Teddiursa, he always tried to look out for them and act as the 'big brother'.

Nido grumbled again at Ran's actions. "Just go to bed, you dummy..." he said grumpily, reaching to nudge his sister. "You're too hyper. It's bedtime." As Togepi entered the room and spoke, he sighed. "See? You're wakin' everybody up. Sorry, Togepi. She won't go to bed!"

Ran squeaked as Nido gently pushed her. She giggled and nudged him back. "It's not doin' anybody any harm. Stop bein' grumpy" but as Togepi came in, she was proven rather incorrect. Her ears flattened and she gave a sigh. "I can't sleeeep, though."

Togepi crossed his arms looking at the two. "Oh, okay, I guess I could read you a story to get you to sleep...." He leaned up against the doorway and began to smirk. "Or do I need to go get Mama Kanga so she can find out that you're not asleep yet." He said. He didn't even realize that he could have gotten in trouble too for staying awake as well, but he never thinks about himself too much to notice. He also didn't realize that he could have possibly been heard by not only other pokemon, but Mama Kanga herself.

Nido lifted his arms up. "Hey, hey, I didn't do nothin'! She just won't let me go to bed!" he said grumpily, looking over to his sister with a glare.

Ran smiled sheepishly and nodded. "Okay, okay. Stories are fun, an' I'll go to bed. No telling Mama Kanga, 'kay?" she said, making her bed back into bed beside her twin brother in the sheepish manner.

It was a coincidence or perhaps irony that a set of footfalls could be heard from the hallway, making their way toward the commotion. "Says the three that are ALL out of bed..." came the voice of a woman, probably in her late 20s or early 30s. The brown-haired woman looked down, now hovering above Togepi. A brow was raised and her arms folded. "Well?"

Togepi would chuckle at the twins before looking down and blinking. He saw Kangaskahn's shadow hovering over him and suddenly he became rather nervous. "M-M-Mama Kanga....." He gulped. "I was just uh.....Telling them that they should be sleeping, you see..." And of course he could never tell a lie. He was always honest. The only time he would truely lie was if he thought it would help others in some way. "I'm sorry.....Teddi couldn't sleep....." He looked down sadly and innocently.

Mama Kanga put her hands on her hips, peering down at the children as Togepi started to explain himself.

Nido piped up as well. "We-We were just going to bed! Well, I was. Ran was bein' all silly and wouldn't go to...sorry Mama Kanga..."

Ran huffed and crossed her arms. "Not my fault..." she hissed. She looked up. "I'm sorry, Mama Kanga. I just can't get to bed..."

Mama Kanga gave the children a smile and shook her head. "Alright. Well, you children get to bed. I'll try to help Ran and Teddi get some sleep. If I catch anyone up after that..." She gave them a look the three knew all too well.

Togepi gulped and gave a nervous chuckle. "Sure thing!" He then ran back to his room door and ran in before shutting it from behind. When he got in, he noticed that Pichu was still up all into her manga. Togepi glared at her while walking to her. He grabbed her manga and headed up to the top bunk. "Hey!" Pichu yelled. "Gimme that back!" She stood up on the bed and looked over the top of the bunk to glare at him. "I told you to go to bed. I'm not giving it back til tomorrow." Togepi told her. "Says you!" She said and climbed up to the top. She began to wrestle with Togepi for her manga book back for a little bit. Teddiursa could hear all this and she whined some before sitting up. She began to cry. Togepi blinked and pushed Pichu off. "Teddi!" He glared at Pichu. "Now, look!" Pichu pouted and her ears drooped. She looked away and poked her lip out. "You shouldn'ta taken my manga..." She replied in a mumble. Togepi glared more.

After Togepi had left the room, Nido had positioned himself back into his bed and started to close his eyes and drift. However, as he heard the trio next door, he growled and cuffed his pillow over his ears.

Mama Kanga had led Ran downstairs where she had given the young Pokemon a glass of berry juice in an attempt to help her relax. She had started up the stairs to attend to Teddiursa, but...a commotion soon could be heard. The frown on her face was telling.

Ran - noticing the look on her face - grinned and said in a sing-song manner - "Somebody's gonna get in trou~bleeee"

Mama Kanga started back up the stairs in a stealthy manner, quietly making her way toward the trio's bedroom. It gently pushed open, but...the expression on her face was nowhere near happy, and her right hand was enveloped in a shade of purple.

Togepi and Pichu kept glaring as each other before they heard Kangaskahn open the door and come in. Both of them had shocked looks on their faces, especially when they saw the purple hue of color shown on Kangaskahn's right hand. They both knew that very well, and they were not at all happy. They were more terrified....

"Don't look at me! He started it!" Pichu would yell while sitting up on her knees pointing right at Togepi. "Hush, Pichu! I was only trying to get you to sleep! You can't blame me!" He yelled at her back.

Mama Kanga gave the two a very disgruntled (because Daisy thinks that's a funny word) and angry expression. She walked over to the two children. "You have been keeping your sister, Nido, and who KNOWS how many of the others up with all this NOISE..." In a flash, the woman sought to strike them on the rear with the purple-lit hand. "GO TO BED!" she shouted.

With that, the light was gone and she walked over to Teddi. The woman knelt to her. "Would you like to come down and have some berry juice with Ran, sweetie?"

As Teddiursa kept crying, both Togepi and Pichu screamed as they were struck with Kangaskahn's 'punishment'. They both held their bottoms and flinched. Togepi's eyes teared up some, but he didn't cry. He just curled up in his bed. Pichu sobbed loudly for a moment. Togepi glanced up at her and wiped his eyes sniffing. "Pichu, get in your bed now...." He told her softly and began to drift off to sleep though it was rather hard. Pichu climbed down and got in her bed curling up as she cried silently.

Teddiursa stopped crying and blinked up at Kangaskahn hiccuping before nodding her head and reaching up for her. She liked it when she was carried and didn't like to walk too much.

Mama Kanga smiled at Teddiursa as she reached up to her. She picked the young Pokemon up and started to carry her off. She flipped the light switch, sighing. It was rough to punish the little ones sometimes, but they'd simply be far too unruly and spoiled if the older woman did not lay down the law. She started back downstairs and to the table, setting Teddi beside Ran.

Both Togepi and Pichu fell asleep as Teddiursa was lead downstairs. She was set down at the table with Ran and waited on her berry juice. Kangaskahn knew that Teddi liked her juice with some honey and liked to drink from a straw. As Teddi waited for her juice, she sucked on her finger and smiled at Ran.

Mama Kanga began to prepare Teddiursa's glass of berry juice, quietly focusing on the task.

Ran smiled over at Teddiursa and grinned. "It's really tasty tonight, Teddi! Bet you'll like it lots."

Mama Kanga laughed as she came back with the drink, setting it in front of Teddi. "It's no different than usual, silly."

Teddiursa smiled at Ran and nodded before blinking up at Kanga. She reached out for her juice and tipped it slightly to reach the straw. She sipped on it and smiled big taking rather big sips. She stopped for a moment to lick her lips before going back to drink it. When she was done, she held the glass up to Kanga to take. "More, pease?" She asked.
