Clay: The coldest city in the region, it's known for being covered in snow year round and is populated by a number of hardy miners. It is home to the Clay Gym, the Leader Salina is known for being quite skilled despite her blindness and her young age. She is considered to be the strongest of the Gym Leaders. The city is situated just at the edge of one of the many mountain ranges in the region.

Jackson: Another bitterly cold city situated just off the coast of the northern island. Unlike its northeastern neighbor, it doesn't see a lot of snow, but rather its fairly dry in comparison. Many of the citizens live in a constant fear and superstitious state due to their proximity to the Forest of Wanderers.

Joplin: A small city situated on the northern most portion of the western islands. It is famous throughout the region for being a prime spot to fish. Many Water-types live at the cities shores, including a family of Slowking. Many tourists flock out here to fish for other Pokemon or to check out the Azure Temple, one of the western islands' most renowned features.

Olathe: Olathe is one of the region's most important cities, being home to both the Olathe Gym and the Kanzasu Pokemon Lab. In addition to the Gym and Lab, it also home to the Olathe Sports Complex, a plot of land containing both an American football and a baseball stadium, both of which mirror the real world Arrowhead Stadium and Kauffman Stadium respectively. It is the most populated city in Kanzasu, being home to nearly twice as many people as the next most populated city, Lenexa.

Wichita: An oddly religious city that's home to the Wichita Gym. It is most notable for the large temple in the center of town, it is used to teach people about the various legendary Pokemon that live throughout the world. It is said that the people who built the Azure Temple had originally come from Wichita.

Platte: Another sports loving town that's home to the Manectric Center, a multipurpose arena that looks quite similar to the real world Sprint Center. It is home to the Platte Gym and is known for its many energetic, outgoing, and almost infectiously enthusiastic citizens.

St. Louis: A sparsely populated town that's situated nearby the Haunted Bog. It is believed that the town is where Team Nebula got its start. It is a leader of scientific innovation, being home to numerous research facilities and many people come out here to further their education.

Overland Park: This city is well known for its many parks that decorate it. Flowers, trees, and beautiful architecture give it a colorful, friendly atmosphere that regularly draws in crowds of people. It is also home to the Overland Park Gym, the gym leader and his younger sisters are known for pouring hours of their time into improving the city and have long been considered role models for many of the city's aspiring Pokemon trainers.

Verdigras: A city situated near the northernmost part of the Haunted Bog. It is best known for its population of Ghost-type Pokemon, many of them working alongside the citizens of the city to improve Verdigras. Many of the people are known for their kindhearted, but aloof natures.

Chanute: Better known by its nickname as the City of Misery, the people living here seem to be in a constant sadness due to their proximity to the Forest of Misery. The people of the city are known for being worshipers of the legendary Regigigas.

Springfield: A city that's well known for its diverse landscape. To the north, it's bordered by a high cliff overlooking the Royal Sea and to the south, it's bordered by a small mountain range. Many people come here to gawk at the city's natural beauty.

St. Joseph: Much like Springfield, the city is known for a diverse landscape. Though, the cliff overlooking one of the region's four major rivers is a bit closer to the sea, however the mountains they see are considerably higher.

Dodge City: This is the warmest and driest city in the region, it sees less than ten inches of rain annually. It's odd location places it at the edges of a large cliff overlooking the Royal Laboratory and at the edge of a desert. It frequently sees warm, but dry weather. It is best known for its cowboy culture, many of the people can be seen playing various kinds of country music, barbecuing, or having a rodeo with a Tauros.

Independence: While its landscape is quite diverse, it isn't nearly as spectacular as Springfield or St. Joseph, however the Independence Gym makes up for the lack of visually appealing landscapes. On the downside, the gym leader is considered to be one of the most dis-likable people in the nation.

Wyandotte: Another odd city that's devoted to the worship of various legendary Pokemon. The city's gym leader is also the preacher at the city's primary church. The people of the city also have a unique style of music that's known for their use of bells, pianos, trumpets, and harps.

Lenexa: The second largest city in the region and the closest to the Lost Woods. The people that come from this city are known for their uniquely adventurous, playful attitudes. Many of them detest laziness, they enjoy spending their time with Pokemon, often playing or battling with them.

Ottawa: Another small, lakeside city that's best known for their tourism. The place is home to the region's largest hotel, the Azure Inn. It regularly sees over 300 people from around the world every month. The people are well known for their love of swimming.

Lawrence: The city is best known for its intelligent population, being home to Kanzasu University, one of the largest institutions in the world. It is best known for classes in law, science, and their athletics, most notably basketball. The citizens of Lawrence are known for their heated rivalry with their southern neighbors, Manhattan. Annually, the citizens of Lawrence and Manhattan hold a tournament to see which trainers are stronger, currently Lawrence has won most of these tournaments.

Manhattan: Another college city, this one being home to Kanzasu State University. The school is best known for its agriculture, business, and technology classes, their athletics are also a notable feature, though they seem to excel in football. The city has a heated rivalry with Lawrence, believing their home university is inferior to their own in spite of the fact that they are losing the majority of the crosstown tournaments.

Shawnee: Much like its southern neighbor, it's a sparsely populated town that's situated near the Haunted Bog. Many Ghost-types make their residence in the town, often helping the citizens with many of their daily chores and often takes part in helping them recover from any recent disasters.

Liberty: A small city with a beautiful view of the Crystal Lake. The city is best known for being home to the Liberty Hospital, one of the largest Pokemon hospitals in the world. Many future Pokemon doctors come out here to study medicine.

Garden City: As the name suggests, the city is home to a beautiful network of colorful gardens. Many of these colorful gardens are home to a number of Bug-, Grass-, and Water-types; each of them helping out in hopes of keeping their city bright and colorful. Like Liberty, the city has a beautiful view of the Crystal Lake.

Johnson: A small city on the coast of the northern island. Besides its beautiful view of the Royal Sea, there's very little notable about it.

Grandview: The city is perhaps best known for its scenic view of Liberty and Garden City thanks to its location near the western cliffs, it was also the birthplace of the current Team Nebula admins.

Salina: This small town is most famous for having the highest elevation of any city in Kanzasu, and perhaps the world itself. Many of the townsfolk are known for being hard workers, doing everything they can to keep their town running smoothly. The Clay gym leader was named after the city, she is also known for being a hard worker and being among the greatest trainers in all of Kanzasu.

Lee's Summit: While the town is quite small, it is best known for being home to the region's Pokemon League. This town is often the final stop for many trainers, however the league itself is no easy task. The Elite 4 are among the toughest in the world, while the Champions will be more than capable of knocking challengers around..
