Enough rambling, allow me to introduce myself. I am Professor Cottonwood and I study Pokemon, more specifically how humans and Pokemon interact with one another in their environments. I've been at this study for several years, but sadly,
I've grown too old to travel, but my old age shouldn't stop you!

Will you claim your place in the Kanzasu Hall of Fame? Will you become the greatest breeder the region has seen? Where will your journey lead you? The choice is yours, of course. In these Pokeballs, is your future partner... the little one inside will help you push your goals to the very limits. Before you decide, I've got a little something for you. This is a Pokedex, a high tech encyclopedia! This'll help you gather information on the Pokemon you'll be catching, it is one of the most vital tools for a trainer!
Now, let's meet the Pokemon you'll be traveling with. Choose carefully, this'll be your partner for life! We've got the Grass-type, Bulbasaur; the Fire-type, Charmander; the Water-type, Squirtle; the Electric-type, Pichu; the Normal-type, Eevee; and the Bug-type Weedle. Go ahead and make your choice, then we'll continue our discussion."
The main idea behind this plot is that we're all playing new trainers just starting on their journey. Each of the possible starters are listed above; it's first come, first serve, so if you miss out on selecting the one you're wanting, then you'll have to hope you can find one in the wild. Now, we can either play as close, childhood friends or be complete strangers once we reach the Olathe Pokemon Lab. I'd very much prefer us to travel about the region together, but of course we don't have to do so. The plot will effectively be the same as any ordinary Pokemon game; we'll travel about Kanzasu following our goals, taking Team Nebula while potentially pursuing the legendary Pokemon (which I'll be going more in depth about soon.), and taking care of various side quests throughout the RP. You don't have to waste a character slot for your trainers, but you can if you want. I will be making up profiles for my own trainers soon, but for now here's my trainers.
Austin will be starting with Bulbasaur, and the rest of his team is what it'll look like in the future.
Ashley will be starting with Squirtle, and the rest of her team is what it'll look like in the future.
Austin and Ashley are 17 year old twins and will be seen together during the entirety of the RP.

Kanzasu is largely populated by Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos based Pokemon. While you can find Pokemon native to Hoenn and Alola, they will be much rarer than the others. I will be creating pages detailing the legendary Pokemon, the region's Pokedex, and a few other important details pretty soon, so be on a lookout. No, I'd like all of us to start up in Kanzasu similar to how you would in the main series. However, wild Gligar and Gliscor do exist in the region, so he could obtain one later on.

Nah. It's perfectly fine. Glad to see it up, but keep in mind, Hana will still be an encounter to the wild, so it'll be awhile before she shows up.
So, I'm just waiting to see the time I can jump in. Means people gotta post.
Since we haven't seen anything from Spooder in awhile, do y'all wanna continue without him or just plan up a new RP in the meantime?
