It was a fairly warm morning in the beautiful city of Delfino Plaza, people were already bustling like normal. Some were heading off to work, some were heading off to the beach to goof off, while others were just aimlessly wandering. Joseph was among these people aimlessly wandering in search of the Pokemon Lab. He might've been born here, but that doesn't mean he wasn't incapable of getting lost. The way the streets twisted and turned made just walking to and from the local convenience store a hassle. Sometime during the walk, he ended up bumping into his friends, Jason and Julia who had recently just gotten together.

The loving couple had decided that they were gonna start their own adventure today, while they had fairly different goals, they figured traveling together would provide them with plenty of fond memories. Jason wished to capture the legendary Pokemon, Ho-oh while Julia wished to discover the secrets behind the ruins that dot the center of the region. But, before they could do that, they needed to pick up their first Pokemon. Joseph's dreams were a bit more simple and cliched, he just wanted to become champion of Isla Sol, but like the other two, he needed to collect his first Pokemon.

After a few moments of random chit chat, they finally arrived at the Pokemon Lab, seemingly being the first among those that Professor Orchid had contacted to go on a journey. Since they were the first to show up, they were the first ones to select their Pokemon. "Oh, welcome, friends! You three are early, I hope you haven't been walking for too long." The golden clad professor greeted with a cheerful smile on her face. "Oh, not at all, miss. We're just glad we could make here before anyone else." Julia responded, bowing slightly towards the professor.

Professor Orchid decided to let out the Pokemon that were available for the picking. "Alright, here are your potential partner. We have Bulbasaur, a Grass-type; Cyndaquil, a Fire-type; Oshawott, a Water-type; Venipede, a Poison-type; Eevee, a Normal-type; and Spinarak, a Bug-type. Choose carefully, they'll be your partners for a long time." She fell silent, deciding to let the three take some time to think about their choice. After several moments, they had come to a decision. "I think... I'll go with Bulbasaur." Julia began as she lifted up the little Grass-type. "We're gonna be the best of friends, no doubt about it." She spoke in a confident tone. "Excellent choice, Julie. Jason, that means you're up next." The professor seemed to be just as excited as the trio was.

Nodding, Jason lifted up the Cyndaquil. "This one's adorable, so I think I'll go with it... and I'll nickname it Flare." He grinned and hugged the cheerful Fire-type now known as... Flare... how original. The professor laughed a bit. "Hopefully Julia will help you with your nicknames in the future." She teased before turning to Joseph. "You're up next, friend." Nodding, Joseph looked between the last Pokemon that remained, deciding between Spinarak and Venipede until eventually deciding on the former. "I love this little one... I'm calling it Spider." He stated as audible sighs from both the professor and Julia could be heard. "Alright, why don't you three get to know your Pokemon while we wait for the other trainers to show up?" The professor suggested as she awaited for the others. The trio took a seat on a small bench, rambling on about random things as they awaited for the other trainers.
Eva woke, as usual, to her trusty alarm clock; her little sister, Celeste jumping on top of her as a wake up call. "Eva, you gotta wake up! It's the day you get your starter Pokemon, remember?" Celeste said with a giggle. Eva playfully pushed her sister off of her as she responded "Yeah, I know. Now get off of me so I can get ready! And you need to go brush your teeth! Your breath stinks!" Her tone was teasing as she spoke. Celeste giggled again and did as Eva said, getting off of her and going to the bathroom to brush her teeth.

With her little sister now off of her, Eva went to get herself ready for the day, quickly brushing her hair and teeth and dressing in her usual outfit, a long-sleeved dress with a white top and green skirt that reached down to her knees and green flats. She then quickly ate some breakfast and said goodbye to her parents and sister before going out the door to head down to Professor Orchid's lab.

As she walked, she smiled as she simply enjoyed the weather. Though, she did pause for a moment in her heading for the lab in order to pick a few wild flowers she spotted growing and she made a flower crown out of them. Admittedly, she was a bit nervous to get a starter Pokemon as she knew other trainers would be at the lab as well, so she was sort of taking her time to get there.

Though, eventually she did reach the lab and timidly stepped inside. A nervous, yet excited expression was plastered on her face. She hoped that Eevee wouldn't have already been taken. She had always loved the Pokemon and was hoping to get one as her starter. The flower crown she had made sat comfortably upon her head as she timidly looked around the lab.
Eto was sprinting full speed down the sidewalk of Delfino Plaza. Her long, black hair whipping behind her, she turned sharply, giggling as she nearly fell. Almost there!

She burst into the doors, where the rest of the trainers were meeting their pokemon. Breathless, she ran over and hugged Professor Orchid.

" Ahhh! Good morning!!!
I'm ready to get my pokemon!! Please say you still have Oshawott!! "

Her deep violet eyes glimmered peevishly, turning a near hostile glance to the trainers. Though, when she saw none of them had an Osha, the expression was replaced with manic excitement.

This time she actually looked at the ground, and spotted the little otter.

" Chu ♡"
She scooped up the slightly tensed water type. She brought him to her nose, bringing her eyes to his.

The exchange lasted an awkward moment, before a genuine smile was shared between the two. The Oshawott wriggled excitedly.

" Oshaaa ♡ "

Eto giggled, hopping from foot to foot oddly.

" I name you . . .
Soru! "

She wore a black hoodie despite the generous heat, and torn jeans.

" Oh! Professor will we get our Pokedexes??! "

She had sat on the ground a fair distance from the others, and was offering her new friend a Pokepuff, which Soru gladly snarfed down.
"<Wake up, deadbeat - you're late~>" His third alarm taunted with the sound of his own voice. Then a smooth purr followed, "<You trying to get left with sloppy seconds? Trying to get left with some pesty Spewpa?>"

And at that, Xolo's eyes flash open and he throws himself out of bed. No time to think too hard about what he's wearing. In fact, no time to change out of what he wore to bed. Black canvas with rips in the thighs and trailing fringe on the heels from being a hair too long. Faded gray tee that used to have sleeves until he tore them off (but they were coming apart, anyway).

He throws his phone into one of his pants's many pockets and scrambles for the bathroom, ignoring the fussing of his sister. Gargles a bit of mouthwash, runs his fingers through his short-ish black hair, and splashes some water in his face.

On go the black socks, garish orange sneaks, black and orange half-gloves, and his lucky long-coat. He'd found the thing missing a sleeve and took it as a sign to replace them both. So he'd picked short black sleeves with padded shoulders and orange accents, and had sewn them on himself. He loves that stupid thing.

Then he grabs his skates and his bag (already prepped with a few key items, like potions, snacks, and pokeballs) and charges out the door. Which left finding the lab. Shouldn't be too hard, right?

Wrong.

Not only does it take forever to find the place, Delfino Plaza is waaaay hotter than Lumiose. Xolo feels like he's dying, he's sweating so much when he gets there.

He figures knocking isn't necessary, so lets himself in. Then the cooler air hits his damp arms and he can't remember if he put deodorant on. Does he play it off like it's nothing or does he check if he stinks? That's pretty darn embarrassing either way... He'll just have to not stand next to anybody. That'll solve it.

"Hey? Prof. Orchid? I'm here for a starter. Got any left?"

And as he looks around at everyone present, he really hopes she does. One that isn't doofy-looking. Or super cute... Not that cute's bad, just how's he gonna be taken seriously as Top Punk in Isla Sol with a pokemon that's too cute? It'd have to be a beast in battle, and he's not sure he can be a good enough trainer to make that true.

Actually, y'know what? Screw it. He could totally rock a cute pokemon and still be Top Punk.

"Oh."

It's down to eevee and a weirdo, rusty-looking venipede and there's one kid left besides him who doesn't already have a pokemon. Which, isn't the end of the world. He could be a jerk and turn it into "I got hands on mine first!" and that would be the end of that. But she seems nice.

Cute at least, what with her flower crown and dress and--- aw, heck. He just can't be that kind of mean!

"D-did you already call dibs?" He smiles, hoping his nerves aren't too obvious. "You wouldn't happened to have picked the bug, did you? 's fine if you did, I mean. Just asking."

Nailed it.
"Wonderful, the three of you have finally arrived." Professor Orchid smiled towards Eto as she picked up the Oshawott. "That's an excellent choice, friend. Hopefully you and the little one get along well. "And, welcome Eva.. unfortunately only two are left, down to Eevee and Venipede, so choose whichever one speaks to you." She suggested before turning to Xolo. "So far, no one has picked up Venipede yet, and even if they do, you'll be likely to find one on the road between Bianco Town and Corona City." She assured him, taking a seat nearby. "Oh, Eto, would you do me a favor and get the three sitting outside, please? I think it'd be best for me to explain a little more as to what I called all of you down here for." She smiled towards the Oshawott trainer.

Meanwhile, the trio were simply talking about random things. "You think we'll find some legendary Pokemon out in the ruins? I've always heard rumors Pokemon like Heatran and Regigigas helped build the temples." Julia mused, her goal was to study the ruins and discover what kind of mysteries they held. Jason wanted to do something similar, but eventually wished to open up a sanctuary. "It'd make for a nice story if we ended up meeting a few legendaries along the way." He responded smiling while Joseph was mostly silent, his goal was not only to become champion of Isla Sol, but he just wanted to be able to confess his obvious feelings towards Eva.
Eto grinned sheepishly.

" Of course Professor! "

Eto put Soru's pokeball in her purple backpack slung over her shoulder. She scooped up the pokemon, it was drooling in bliss at the taste of the pokepuff.

Eto walked dreamily outside the room, picking out odd turns that really weren't necessary. She stopped directly behind Joseph, her fingers fanning out as she gripped his shoulders tightly, and whispered in his ear.

" Professor said she needs us all in the room. Let's go now . . . "

Her voice was slow, and eerie. It was somewhat high pitched, and hushed.

She then giggled, releasing the poor boy and walking back into the room where she picked up Soru. She sat on the ground, with her body at an unnatural pose.

Despite her odd nature, she tenderly took out a cloth and cleaned Soru's shell, then booped his nose. Soru called softly.

" Ossshaaaa! "
He smiled happily.
Eva timidly watched as a trainer chose the Oshawott. She was okay with the Oshawott being taken. She didn't want that Pokémon as her starter, anyways. Sure she thought it was cute, but she had her heart set on getting Eevee for her own starter. She was just glad to see that Eevee wasn't gone by the time she got there. She would've been pretty upset if it wasn't.

She was about to make her choice on the little normal type when another trainer walked in. She silently shook her head when he asked her if she had already claimed the bug Pokémon. She was a bit too nervous to speak at the moment out of fear of jumbling her words around. She never really did too well around new people.

When Professor Orchid said she could choose whichever Pokémon spoke to her, she slowly approached the Eevee. The Eevee shrunk back a bit, an unsure expression written all over the Pokémon's face. Eva stooped down as much as she could to the Pokémon's level, offering the Eevee a gentle, kind smile. "Hey there... you wanna be my Pokémon? I promise I'll take good care of you." she spoke in a gentle tone.

The Eevee timidly nodded and hesitantly approached the girl, sniffing at her for a few moments before placing her front paws on Eva, wanting to be picked up. Eva laughed softly and obliged. "I think I'll name you... Hestia." The Eevee made a few happy sounds, obviously liking the name.
Relief settles across Xolo's face before he catches it and tries to play it cool. He shoves his hands in his pocket and shrugs. It wouldn't have been a big deal, see? He wouldn't have been sad if someone else had grabbed the venipede. It's not like seeing the silly thing made him homesick or nothing.

But he messes up that image again with how he smiles looking at the poison-type and how he crouches down without crowding it, to let it come over on its own terms.

"Hey, I'm gonna go see this whole island, show 'em I'm not just some punk. I'm the punk. Show everyone that I don't mess around, yeah? Wanna tag along?"

Oh please like me. Or at least put up with me. He thinks and is pleasantly surprised that it wanders up without much hesitation. Tries to climb up on him, too.

Sure, it had sized him up first. Sure it had rolled its eyes. But that didn't matter. It picked him. It was cool with traveling together.

He's so happy, he goes all misty-eyed. He doesn't deserve such a great 'mon.

"You're gonna be Achille, 'kay? But I'm mostly gonna call you Bug. You are one. When you get big, though, I'll probably stop," he reassures it, shuffling it onto his shoulder so it can have a better view. "We're friends now, and that's what friends do... Nicknames and trash-talk is how I roll."

He stands up slowly, so Achille doesn't get jostled, and puffs out his chest a bit. This is gonna be so cool!
"Now that you're all here, I can go ahead and fill you in on a few things, including why I've called you all here." Professor Orchid started, smiling as she handed each of them a Pokedex and five Pokeballs. "While most of my research is dedicated to the various types of Pokemon, but I've also dedicated my research to the various ruins in Isla Sol, and during the time, I've discovered an odd gem." Opening a nearby drawer, she pulled out a violet looking diamond, on the surface in looked just like an ordinary diamond, but upon closer inspection, it seemed to radiate with an odd, mystical energy. "As I explored both ruins, I've found an odd temple that seemed to have three separate diamond shaped slots in the Gerudo Ruins while the one in Tortimer also had three slots, yet, I couldn't find any other of these diamonds."

She paused as she handed Eva the diamond. "I'd like to ask for you help in finding the rest of these stones, since I'm assuming these are the keys to open the temple, and it'd be interesting to see what they held. Of course, your journey is yours and yours alone, but if you happen to come across any of these gems, let me know." She finished her explanation, smiling at the group. "I believe those temples hold the secrets to the ancient citizens that built those ruins."

Jason looked towards Julia and Joseph. "What do you think? It could be pretty interesting and it doesn't seem like it'd be taking us too far off our path. Just imagine what could hide behind those doors... untold riches, ancient treasures, maybe even a legendary Pokemon!" He seemed pretty excited about it. "I'm wanting to research the ruins myself, so this'll provide me with an excellent opportunity." Julia nodded in confirmation. "I guess it's settled then, we'll be heading up there." Joseph grinned before turning to the others. "What do y'all think? We could always travel together, or we could possibly meet back up if we find any."
Eva quietly listened to Professor Orcbid as she spoke and timidly accepted the Pokedex and Pokeballs that were handed to her. She seemed quite excited to set off on the journey, though she was admittedly a bit nervous as well. Her new Eevee had ended up making her way to Eva's shoulders and lay there, happily dozing. Eva didn't seem to mind it.

She took the diamond Professor Orchid handed to her with a bit of confusion as to why it would be handed to her personally. Though, she became quite interested as the Professor spoke of the ruins. It seemed she wanted to see if she could help find the other diamonds. She was really wondering what they would unlock.

Though, one thing was for certain; she didn't want to journey by herself. She wanted to have someone on the journey with her and that someone was Joseph. She may or may not have a tiny crush on him. When he mentioned travelling together, she timidly spoke up "U-um, travelling together sounds alright to me..." Her tone was rather soft.
Eto shamelessly got damn near right in Eva's face. She narrowed her violet eyes, strikingly simular color to the diamond.

" I wonder what it's made out of. And what is dancing so wildly inside it, eh? "

Eto giggled, then stepped backwards away from Eva's face.

" I think I could tag along, as long as you promise to explore, and stop by the gyms! "

Eto noticed Soru had fallen asleep over her shoulder. She booped him, and he didn't stir.

" Aw man . . . "

She returned him to his pokeball, and slipped it inside her jacket. She then opened her arms wide.

" If we're all gonna be travel buddies, we should get to know each other! "

She unconsciously pulled her sleeves back down so they covered her hands.

" I'm Eto! "

When she said her name, is held a sinister tone, but it disappeared th rough any other words.

" I'm from Sienna City, and I am gonna meet every pokemon on this island! And battle every willing trainer! "

She grinned deviously, digging in her pack and pulling out a paper bag.

" Pokepuffs anyone? "

She set the bag on the floor, and began toying around with her Pokedex.
"Huh?"

Even though the professor had whipped out a literal gem (and a special mystery one at that) Xolo couldn't get himself excited for it. Exploring ruins sounds the opposite of cool.

But maybe... If they aren't in terrible shape or too creepy-old-timey, maybe he can make them into a base or something for his crew. Punks have to have a place to crash on a long trip, after all. That's something he can get behind.

At some point during the Prof's explanation, Achille climbs up to sit on Xolo's head. It's heavier than he'll admit, but he's a tough guy. He'll just have to handle it (even if it makes his neck hurt).

He shrugs at the suggestion to go together around the region.

"I guess travelling with you guys works. At least for a bit." And not 'cuz he's no good at reading maps and he'll probably get lost if he goes off on his own. Nooooo. Don't be silly.

Not... just that, anyway.

It just... might be nice, for once... to make a few friends. These trainers are new to it, like him. Setting off on a big tour of the island. Seems alright enough to get to kno-- Oh wow she's weird.

Xolo flinches at the way Eto says her name, then looks concerned when she reaches into her bag. Producing the sack of 'Pokepuffs' only slightly helps.

"Uh, no. Thanks." He's brought his hands up in a defensive gesture, almost as if to ward off... something. "We're good, yeah, Bug?" When Achille ignores the question, Xolo flashes a nervous smile. "Yeah. We're good."

Meanwhile, Achille watches Joseph intently. The venipede seems curious about his friends as well, but its eyes keep drifting back to him. If he looks its direction, the bug will pause the wiggling of its feelers and chitter what might be a greeting.
Eto's smile faded slightly at Xolo's apparent disinterest of her pokemon treats. She looked at the floor for a split second, then dug in the bad and fished out a green, almost pastry looking thing. A Pokepuff. Like a macaroon it seemed. The one in her hand was made especially to the tastes of most bug and grass types.

Eto walked over to Xolo, maybe uncomfortably close. Though, she wasn't tall by any means, her mysterious violet eyes and general feel could make other uneasy. She then held the treat up to Xolo's head, though not for him to eat. Just to see if Bug wanted it.

" At least let your pokemon try it before you say no . . . "
She spoke in a near whisper for some reason, as if it were only meant for the two of them to hear. She offered a smile, which could be interpreted as either cute or eerie, depending on who you ask.

Obviously, Eto wasn't moving until the pokemon either accepted the puff, or outright refused it. While close to Xolo, she took it upon herself to stare right into his soul. One may ask if she ever blinked.

" What might your name be? "

She spoke in normal(ish) tones now, retaining eye contact, and the close quarters.
Eva's eyes widened and she leaned back, her breathing becoming quite panicked as Eto got near right in her face. She was shaking wildly, unpleasant memories running through her mind. She looked like she was about to cry and possibly scream. She was way too gentle and shy to resort to pushing Eto away from her, so she didn't try it.

She let out an audible sigh of relief when the girl stepped back from her. Having her personal space invaded by someone who was pretty much a stranger had really put her on edge. She remained in a nervous and slightly panicked silence as she timidly shook her head when Eto offered the Pokepuffs to everyone.

She quietly listened to Xolo and Eto convers with each other, slightly glad that Eto's attention was off of her for now. She didn't need another round of Eto leaning so uncomfortably close to her. Eva's Eevee remained asleep on her trainer's shoulders, completely oblivious all of to the events going on around her.
"It seems our journey's gonna be quite packed, eh?" Jason stated in a pathetic attempt to make a joke before deciding it was time to get some introductions out of the way. "I'm Jason, it's a pleasure to meet all of y'all." He seemed to be pretty excitable, especially in comparison to the other two. "I look forward to seeing what kind of adventure we'll all share.." He gave a thumbs up towards the group before the others introduced themselves.

"I'm Julia, and the one fawning over the Spinarak is Joseph. It's a pleasure to meet you." The girl bowed, keeping a pleasant smile plastered upon her face. The little Bulbasaur seemed to be bow alongside his trainer. The trio of them continued a bit of random conversation, obviously they were pretty excited about getting the adventure started, they just wanted to explore as much as they could, and after they were done here, they planned to head out towards the Kalos region.

"Oh! One more thing, I've got someone I'd like to introduce you to. He's an old colleague of mine, and I believe he'd be a useful ally for all of you. His name's Tommy (Bean's character) and he seems to be quite knowledgeable and I'm sure he'll be a big help for all of you." The professor started, waiting for the man to show up.
Eva shifted a bit uncomfortably as two of the trainers introduced themselves. She just felt a bit nervous being around so many new people at once. She remained in a timid silence for a while, hoping the other trainers would speak up and introduce themselves before she absolutely had to. She fidgeted a bit with her skirt as she silently waited for the other trainers to speak.

Though, after a few moments, she decided it would be best to get her own introduction out of the way. "U-um, I-I'm Eva..." she managed to squeak out after plucking up all the courage she could muster. After that, she fell back into her timid and awkward silence. She never really did well with making smalltalk with others.

She was content to just quietly listen to the three as she spoke and she nodded in understanding in response to what Professor Orchid had said. The thought of having another person that she would have to get to know in the group made her a bit more nervous, though she supposed she would have to cope with it.
"If I tell you that, will you use it to trap my soul in a nether-dimension?" He managed through grit teeth, clearly not happy about how close Eto was standing.

When the treat was offered, the venipede glanced at it only long enough to flick a single antennae at. Then it was back to watching Joseph and chittering amicably in his direction. Or maybe its noise-making was directed at his spinarak... it was hard to tell from that distance.

Their stand-off continued long enough for everyone's introductions, the professor's announcement, and for Xolo's eyes to be watering from staring for so long. Finally, he couldn't take it anymore - his eyes felt like sandpaper! "Aww, man! How long can you keep your eyes open like that? Dang..."

Suddenly, Achille emitted a sharp, shrieking buzz and whipped around to snag the pokepuff. Xolo ducked and - coupled with Achille's rash movement - the venipede pitched forward, shredding the treat all the while.

"Woah, hey!" He caught his partner, leaving the pokemon looking like a grumpy baby (both because how it now was held and the green mess it was making as it chewed). "Careful, Bug. Y'almost ended up on your head! Then where would you be?"

Achille opted not to answer and finished eating. Whether or not it liked the pokepuff was left for debate, but it didn't spit it out. So that was something... It just looked so angry while it attacked the treat!

Finished with that, uh, display, the venipede let its attention wander elsewhere, nubby legs wiggling at the cieling.

"Oh...kay, then... Uh. I'm Xolo - formerly of Lumiose - and 'it's nice to meet you all' is what I'm s'posed to say next but honestly I'm too weirded out to be sure of that yet. So yeah... Hi."
Eto watched happily as Bug supposedly ate the pokepuff. She happily engaged in the staring contest with Xolo, to her victory. Though her smile remained on her face, she felt Eva's and Xolo's reactions a huge crush to her soul. Once the Venipede ate the puff, Eto picked up the bag of pokepuffs, and happily walked outside.

Or, it seemed so. Though her eyes were closed and cheerful, and her smile wide, tears fell from violet eyes. Mother had been right. Eto decided she could skip intros. She was always bad at them, even when she was smaller. As she walked down the sidewalk, she pulled her hood up, and dropped the fake cheerfulness. She found a quiet spot behind a rock by a vacant house. Then she let the tears fall. Her smile faded, and she hugged her pokeball.

Soft sobs could be heard from in her hoodie, knowing that she had messed up any chance at having friends. She didn't know how to act around other people. The center where she had picked up Soru was still in sight. She changed her mind. She didn't want to go with them.

Soru came out of his pokeball, ready to play, but immediately blinked when he saw Eto crying. Soru waddled up to her, and snuggled into her hoodie with her, reaching his paws up and dabbing at the tears. Eto sniffled and looked at her worried Oshawott with a sad smile.

" S-sorry buddy. I wasn't raised right to play with people . . . "
She hugged Soru, biting down loud sobs.

" I only need my buddy here anyways . . . "

She didn't try to be creepy, it came as a coping mechanism. She embraced Soru tighter, but the water type didn't seem to mind being doted on, as Eto cried softly.
A tall, skinny man, entered the room from behind the professor. He had sandy blonde hair and deep yellow eyes that seemed almost owl-like. He wore a simple green hoodie and a pair of joggers with some green (vans) shoes.

Beside him marched a Lopunny that wore a small but gorgeous necklace made of emerald. It kept close to the man and stared at the children with a warmness in its eye.

Once the man reached the professor, he looked at each and every child before him, opening his hand to wave kindly. A large smile also formed on his tan face and he bowed respectfully.

“Hello children!” He said in a raspy voice, “I am Tommy Field! An explorer and traveler of the world! And this is my trusty Lopunny, Hazel! Together we deem to protect you out in the world of Pokémon, not only from some of these powerful animals, but also from powerful foes. We will be your traveling companions and guardians during your adventures in this region! If that’s alright with all of you of course?”
"With this out of the way, I'll leave up to you all to decide whether or not he comes along with you. I'll check in on you guys every now and then regarding your progress with the gems." Professor Orchid bowed, leaving the room to get some extra research done. She seemed blissfully unaware of many of the interactions that were going on.

With the Spinarak on his shoulder, Joseph grinned a bit. "Shall we head on out, friends?" He asked the others with a smile on his face, but his attention was stolen by Eto, who had left just moments prior. "Seems someone's eager to get started." He was unaware of what had really happened, being the blissfully ignorant idiot like usual. "Think we should go after her or perhaps we should just let her roam around for a bit?" He asked the others, humming softly as he spoke.

Jason and Julia looked between each other. "I'm pretty sure she's just going to tell her parents or siblings she's leaving soon." The girl shrugged. "We should probably get a few things together before we head out... and I really can't blame her for being hyped up, I can't wait until we set out on the road. We'll be exploring those temples before you know it!" Hoisting up the Bulbasaur in her arms, she grinned and pulled Jason along behind her. "Come on, Jas!" She spoke in a childish excitement, completely unlike her mature, serious disposition just seconds prior.

Jason sighed, laughing softly as he followed behind his beloved Julia. "Well, I suppose we should get going... we've no reason to delay the adventure any further!" He was just as excited as Julia was, if not more so.
