Cubes are a small piece of technology, about two times smaller than an average Rubix's cube. They come in a variety of colors, and are highly customizable. The same goes for their holsters, which can be worn at the hip or thigh.
Each cube has a bulb built into the top side of the cube, where it can display a holographic screen in the color of the user's choice.
It is popular among teenagers, and highly valued aboard exploration ships.
