Trees also help keep the air clean for us to breathe, so it's good to have a lot of them around.
[:]) Trees are nice.
@) *reaching up towards the sun*
^u^ yes they are. ^u^
|/=^] "Lets go find out what flowers we want to plant around the house now." |/=^]
=[|:|oD] *is still fascinated by Genral and Onponn connecting systems to controls and finalizing various outputs to be ready for the drywall once its put up*
[:]D Yeah! *they bend their knees to jump off the roof*
*noticing this, she tightens her grip on their shoulder* Hey--you can't just jump off like Genral did. You need to fly down. *she's concerned they won't start flapping before they hit the ground*
@? @) okay...
|/~@] |/=-] "whew..." |/=@] "Genral is made up of tougher stuff than we are. none of us should just, plummet down to the ground. you could break something" |/=@]
0~0 -_- oh... 0~0 Thankyou Sophie. -_- ... 0u0 yes, it is very important to never land to fast. just a careful fall, and we can be down there without harm... 0u0 *provides a demonstration, gently hovering to the ground*

=[|:|33] ...
[:]? *watches Ribbon's demonstration, and goes to copy her*
*she lets go of their shoulder as they start to flap their wings, and follows them off the roof and down to the ground* There we go.
[(]) ()
|/=^] "Great job!" |/=^] *follow on down, sticking by the wall with their 'tail'*
0u0 Perfect! ^u^ lets go figure flowers. 0u0 *starts to head for the mines*

=[|:|33] ... I'lL BE HerE... =[|:|3D] TrY AN PicK SomE ReallY GooD OneS! =[|:|33]
[:]D *hurrying along after Ribbon*
@) *looks briefly back towards Marlow* byemarlow!
Have fun watching.
^u^ |/=@] *it wouldn't be to long of a walk back to the mines, to head in and get the heavy plant book*
[:]D @D *they run on in ahead, excited to find the book*
*is happy to see them so excited*
|/=^] ... *with the kids ran up ahead, the darkmatter take a moment to say something* |/=@] "I'd just like to take another moment to say, Thankyou for this." |/=^] "I'm feeling whole inside, and despite a wide range of factors contributing to it, I'm giving the credit to you." |/=@]

0u0 *not wanting to interrupt anything, Ribbon speeds up, flying to go alongside the kids as they hurry, going to get the book setup* ^u^ alrighty! here we are...
I'm flattered... It was my pleasure.

[:]) *they turn over the cover of the book to open it*
@) *picking out letters* ...p!
^u^ yep. That says, 'petal care'. 0u0 the pages we want are in a different place though. Flowers in colors greater than the rainbow. ^u^ *opens to a page filled with white flowers. The start of the monochromatic scale*
|/=^] *with a happy nod, they go to look at the book to choose flowers... This will likely take a little while*
*Hamnet and Factor like yellow and purple flowers, respectively, but they both like the white ones. Sophie would speak up when she saw some nice blue ones, sitting a little off to the side, where she can lean back against something*
*there was a wide variety to be seen, in all kinds of colors, including small, dense shrubs that had their outsides completely covered in tiny colored flowers, and little fruit-bearing plants that produced a wide variety of berries*
|/=^] "Oh, berries. we could make all kinds of jams with those." |/=^]
@? jams?
[:]) *reaching out to touch the pictures*
|/=@] "Ah." |/=^] "Kind of like syrup or honey, only with fruits and berries."
0u0 it can be good... after the seeds have been cared for, and have had their growth assured. ^u^ I personally like strawberry, even if its... difficult to tend to the seeds... Sometimes I... ^u^ ... 0_0 ^u^ um. never mind...
*she had been about to talk of sometimes making strawberry jam without tending to the seeds properly, making the seeds a part of the jam itself... a violent act back at her home planet*
It's sweet and sticky, and sometimes tangy, depending on what it's made of.
[:]D Sounds good!
@) thentheseedsmakemore!
^u^ they do! 0u0
|/=@] ... |/=^] "I bet I could get the hang of making jams. then we can all share in the effort. Ribbon can help with the plants, and I can make the Jams. But, its probably not an easy job to do alone. Maybe, you two could help Ribbon with the plants, and Sophie could help me with the jam? does that sound nice?"
*Trying to come up with an idea that gives Ribbon an excuse to not have to turn berries into jam*
Yes, that'd be good teamwork.
@) yeah! *hamnet and factor like teamwork; it's their whole existence basically*
[:])
|/=^] "So thats good. we are certainly going to have plenty of berry bearing plants."
^u^ and maybe some flowers that grow especially well together when placed directly beside eachother... so, probably not Tulips... 0~0 hmm... 0u0 and we should probably avoid magical plants for the most part to.
