Well, he had caused quite the interference in blocking the Doomers from obtaining a single Halacandrian, since they have a naturally strong affinity with being Time Players. And the Grand Doomer now contains ALL the Knowledge of a Sprite, along with an incredibly enormous wealth of other knowledge. They are certain to recognize that power, and do something. And even beside that, such an action as what they performed in stopping an unprecedented Doomer raiding Blitz... The King has to take notice. He holds a strong curiosity as to the true nature behind Mack's powers, and his Knight, you know, the one who's Knowledge and Fortune served well to Protect, is honor bound to give some kind of explanation sooner or later... Its an incredibly delicate situation. if not handled properly, one, or maybe even two more rounds of the Game might be started.
...of course, he ate Shieldsprite... Is it too much to hope that Shieldsprite's attempt was costly enough to make the King reluctant to try again?
"a little to much to hope that. His greatest power. relying on people that aren't garbage. with it just itself with all the resources required to plan it out, they're very likely to use it."
People aren't garbage. Will he come after this family?
The Grand Doomer thinks people can be garbage. But, he does come from a mindset where that could be taken more literally. And it's very unlikely that they will ever come here again. Though there is a slim chance they might still hold curiosity in Jofie, and have Observers keep watch.
Doomers who's job it is to stay hidden and watch. They get a good share of Intel and info.
Hm. Do any of us have a way to keep them off our backs?
A permanent solution, difficult. But there are a number of temporary ones. Jofie and Nyx could probably hunt down and consume them easily. The Darkmatter could make a warding field. Maybe even Onponn could 'tame' them. You and her make an incredible team.
*nods* So when you call the other Mack a danger, it's not that he himself will potentially cause us direct harm, but more the circumstances around him. What about Dots?
Dots, is in a bit of a limbo... they've lost just about everything they once had. Now they are just the Glitch of Space as a colorless empty sprite. That last Game they were in really didn't pull any punches.
*bites back the instinctual "is there anything we can do"* Is there... You said this is a danger to us.
yes, an incredible danger in some scenarios, and absolutely not a danger in others. As the Glitch of Space, its very hard to make proper sense of things about them. But Dots deserves better. with an incredible amount of work, they can be certain to recover at least a scrap of something meaningful to them.
Dots has been instinctively seeking their, 'Home'. that lone instinct is about the only semblance of Mind that they still retain, and they can make it so that every place they think might have been 'Home' will be the same place all at once.
I've been keeping them back, but such an event would be certain to cause incredible changes in the Land around the Fold. it might even expand the fold out to encompass the more stable eastern lands that Onponn's home and the Town are on the very edge of.

Then Dots need to be helped. For their own sake, as well as everyone else's.
I can continue to keep their idea of where Home might be Obscured, whatever you might do. Do you have any ideas on how best to help them?
I don't know much about Glitches... I remember they had whole worlds inside them, that they prototyped everything in their game, even other players. And they had a hard time thinking straight or maintaining an identity as a result. But having nothing inside them doesn't seem to be any better... They did seem better after I, well, when they caught the Trickster thing. They said they could think clearly with it. Is there something to that?
Ah, but that was when they were the passive, 'ignores the rules of' Class. FreeSoul. they are the Active version now.
And they could think clearer because of a little protective measure that was put in place to counteract the possibility of Trickster. as opposed to heightening Heart and nullifying Mind, it had Nullified Heart and heightened Mind. but thats all in the past.
Whatever ends up happening, its likely not to be easy.
Maybe you should just try talking with them?
