"No idea. I've only done it a handful of times, and none of them I knew the person we were trying to contact in any sort of way." She sterilized the needle before getting to work sewing up the cut on his arm. "It's a long shot, admittedly."
"True." Hobbes got up when he was done, and adjusted her shirt back. "In either case, I guess we'll find out soon enough."
Sassy came into the kitchen, interested in the smells. Her claws scrabbled on the sides of the counters when she tried to jump up onto them.

"What do you want to do with her?" *Daxton nodded motioning towards the body of maxele*
"Hmm....any repercussions for her if our try goes wrong?"
*Valorn gave lyrica a look to see how she was reacting to all this, this was about her after all*
"what do you think Lyr?"
*Valorn gave lyrica a look to see how she was reacting to all this, this was about her after all*
"what do you think Lyr?"
"Shouldn't be," Swaije answered. "Worst I ever had, we contacted an evil spirit by mistake instead, but banishing it was a piece of cake."
"I feel like we've got a lot to go on now with all that stuff Hobbes dug up," Lyrica smiled. "So maybe we can check all that stuff out first, and then maybe..?"
Hobbes looked at the corpse. "Unless you have something you want to use her for, she looks like good plant food to me."

*valorn grabbed a napkin and scribbled some stuff down onto it*
"my trolltag, I don't think this is the best place for it. Use that to keep in contact with me and if thats what she decides she wants...I may just contact you to set something up"

"It's all yours then...but before we try the code, I think you should rest. You look weak, and I don't like that in your condition" *daxton replied in an even but firm tone*
"Sure," Swaije answered, accepting it.
"I'll rest when you do," Hobbes answered. She really wanted to know what was on that game grub, and get it to Rhuteb and Fen as quickly as possible. It still needed to be admitted into evidence, not to mention unlocked and combed through... provided the information Maxele had given them was correct.

Hobbes and Daxton had been discussing get answers out of Fitzer. Having taken care of the immediate danger, there had been a little time to collect themselves, and get things taken care of. The game grub, Maxele's laptop, and the little black book they had found were being processed for anything and everything useful, and Hobbes' conspiracy board was growing as they puzzled out more and more of it. The pieces were coming together, slowly. But there were obvious gaps, which simply wouldn't be filled by what they had.
For one thing, they still had no idea where Yvicke's hive actually was. And it seemed that their most promising lead was the purpleblood being held in jail, currently. It would take breaking Fitzer out, to get the answers they were looking for. Which wouldn't be terribly difficult, since a lot of the police officers were already in Hobbes' pocket. Of course, there was the chance that a few of the more altruistic ones would get in the way if they-
Daxton's TDA went off. He'd sent Khamir back to his office to feed his fish, which had been over an hour ago. It had been assumed that Khamir had done it and left already, but apparently that was not the case.

FS: Sir, I respect the fact that you have bullet proof windows with high grade locks
FS: But holy fuck are they a pain in the ass to reinstall.
FS: Really beginning to think you'd intended for me to just cut through the glass and have it over with.
It was the sort of set of messages that begged the question, why the hell was Khamir trying to go in through the window? There hadn't been any traps this time.

As much as he enjoyed his commanders title, he had spent most of his life as a lone agent, so being surrounded by other trolls all the time left him itchy...at least here he had peace...mostly-
-The "training mission" he had planned for khamir would be an important one indeed. Khamir was going to be testing his information gathering skills by helping daxton acquire the floor plans of the prison Fitzer was being held in, and the best way to get inside undetected. Daxton would tell khamir this was an intelligence test, for plotting out how an enforcer would enter a prison to eliminate a target that had been incarcerated. Which wasn't a complete lie...it would help Khamir's training doing this...it would just also help daxton and hobbes as well...not that Khamir needed to know that at the moment-

FS: In that case, want me to see about grabbing the security tapes, see if they caught anything?

Watching all the tapes in their entirety would take hours to comb through, but the only time the motion detectors had been tripped had been literally when animals had come by. A bird had tried pecking at one of the cameras, at one point a deer friend had come and just stared at the ship for five minutes straight, without blinking, before taking off... just normal stuff.
FS: Will do.
It was about that time that he got another message, as well. This time, from Hobbes.

Sassy was trying to climb up Khamir's pant leg, and held on tightly when he walked in, bringing the box with him.
"It's all in here, defused, but I put in the sensors and everything."

"I'll have an associate on this matter in shortly, make sure they are brought straight here with no hassle. Get the tapes?"
"Of course." He pulled a CD case out of his coat pocket, setting it on a table. "Got everything from the past 24 hours I could pull. Any idea who we're looking for?"
It was mildly concerning, that someone was planting bombs in Daxton's office. Not entirely unexpected as his boss did have his fair share of enemies, but all the same. It had taken a bit for Khamir to get his hands to stop shaking after managing to disarm the explosive. Having to disarm a device left handed was no easy feat.
By now, though, his hands were steady and he felt he was doing a good job of keeping things professional. Now they just had to find whoever had done this, and make sure it never happened again.
